Wonderful old building in a great location on the river.

The hotel looks beautiful, has comfortable beds, great toiletries and a fabulous breakfast. Pocky and her staff are beautiful hosts that look after their guests.

The price; over $410 Australian a night without breakfast, it is a lot of money for a very noisy air conditioner all through the night that clicks in and out and wakes you up. Plus every time we had a shower, only one person got a hot shower, person 2 had a cool to cold shower. This doesn’t worry me usually, but when paying for 5 star I’d like to have 5 star facilities.

Excellent service and location to nearby amenities and attractions. Staff were very friendly and provided with all the help.

Rooms are not sound proof and guest can easily hear conversations from next room. The breakfast toaster for the croissants was not working and needs to be changed .

I highly recommend the Burasari Heritage Hotel. Located in the heart of the old city of Luang Prabang, it looks out onto the Nam Khan River, a great place to have a glass of wine at night. The facility is beautifully designed; the rooms are all in wood, giving the hotel a 1920s feel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged my travel to Nong Khiaw and the airport with no problems. A special notice to Phaeng and Somair who were especially helpful. Wonderful breakfast and good food added to the delight. I hope I can go back again in the future.

It's the little touches that make this hotel so special. Our room was beautiful. The location was perfect. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The luxurious coconut bath products were an added bonus. Burasari Heritage is the gem of Luang Prabang.

This hotel was stunning; the staff were great especially the young reception guy who checked us in. He checked in on us every day to make sure we were OK.The food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff so helpful.The hotel was clean and felt so safe.

Everything was perfect and couldn't have been better.

Shower in bedroom...no intimate!

Great location, terrific choice for breakfast - Laotian and international options, helpful staff. Well positioned for morning alms giving ceremony.

No complaints - all good.

Staff were amazing. Sat and enjoyed drinks with them all one evening. Place was lovely and clean.

Great location ...easy to walk everywhere. Lovely hotel and comfortable room with balcony - traditional wooden style with nice furnishings. Staff were exceptionally kind and efficient and breakfast was very good.

Not the hotel's fault but there were some noisy excavations on the opposite side of the river to prevent erosion etc. Temporary situation nearing completion and hardly made a dent in an otherwise fantastic break.

Lovely heritage property, close to everything, very friendly staff, nice restaurant, great breakfast.

A little cramped, noisy, too much light, it was on the street, and the guitar player in the bar went on too long.

No services, impolite stuff trying to cheat you. Very noisy place, from 6 in the morning you got a noise parade from outside to your room.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, an old colonial house that is truly stunning. Everything is made of wood, and the rooms are gorgeous. The service was excellent, and we also had dinner at the restaurant, where the food was great. Highly recommended!

Location was excellent.

Shower area and washbasin are installed in the main bedroom. In the photos the room looks long enough and it appears that shower area is a bit away.

Great location, out of the Main Street and by the river in a street full of nice restaurants.

I was incorrectly charged US$ 4 for Dining Room expenses I didn’t have. At the time I preferred not to argue because the lady presenting the bill was very pregnant and I didn’t want to annoy her. But it left a sour taste in my mouth since I felt the property simply stole 4 dollars from me.

Incredibly beautiful, authentic, and every detail thought of. Samair was very helpful in arranging everything. Highly recommend this jewel in Luang Prabang. Without a doubt the best spa and the best massage in Luang Prabang. Worth the try!

There is construction across the river which can be very loud in the morning if you like to sleep in.

Disappointing stay

Every morning between 5:30 and 6:30 there is a lot of noise in front of the hotel as many mini buses stop here to get out of the cars and later pick up lots of tourists. S our rooms are towards the street. I think every room has more or less this challenge.Especially the Chinese tourist are very loud so we could not sleep during that time.Beside that the the hotel did not gave us the room we booked. We booked a balcony room with 30 m² and get a smaller room at the ground floor with you to the street.
