- We were excited to stay here but it did not live up to our expectations. The rooms could use some maintenance. We stayed in two rooms. In one, the sink handle kept falling off and there was no hose in the bathroom. In the other, the doors to the balcony did not close all the way, letting in street noise and pollution. The hotel is on the path of the monk’s morning alms rounds, so tour groups came to sit outside our window starting before 6am and this woke us up multiple mornings. All day, we could hear the washing machine running from our room. It was not a very quiet stay and did not feel like good value for money. Also, the view from the balcony was bad because it was blocked by 20-30 electrical wires running right in front of the balcony.

the location was nice and the property itself was nice.
the room was small, the one I booked was oddly designed as the bath tub was right in front of the door and in the middle of the room. when we took shower the water splash out of the stone tub and made room moldy and smelly. the toilet smell the sewerage all day and we kept the fan on just to help the smell get a way.
Good location and the interior of the room was lovely including the bath as a feature. would highly recommend!
