The Pullman Basel Europe, the first Pullman hotel in Switzerland, is located only 1640 feet from the heart of the city and 656 feet from the Messe Basel Congress and Exhibition Center. It features a fitness room, a green inner courtyard and a private underground car park. Guests benefit from free access to public transport in Basel. The stylish and bright rooms come with air conditioning, free WiFi and wired internet access, a mini-bar and special foam pillows. - Checked in on Christmas day ...staff couldn't have been nicer. Had dinner in the restaurant...everything great. Room very intelligently laid out, clean, lots off storage space, dual entry bathrooms....well thought out floor plan.
- It was clean. Staff was helpful. Trains and buses everywhere within 2 minute walk. Room was a good size based on European sizes, but not as large as American sizes that we are accustomed to. I recommend to all Americans who are concerned with room size.

Cons -
- It is a good area in that all you have to do is cross a bridge to the main town area, but late at night, near the hotel, just be a bit more alert.
- Not a thing. Everything was fine.
- We booked this hotel because it stated "Airport Shuttle" as one of the amenities. NOT SO. The front desk stated that their airport shuttle was cab or public transportation. We spent 110 Euros on cab fare back and forth to airport. Off of our list.
