only the location as it was inside a lush green jungle.

The room was not clean, with stains and old bedsheets. The washroom was very smelly. Food was below average, very few options even after paying such a premium.

A lovely hotel with great facilities, tucked away from the business of the Matheran town. It takes a little longer to get there from the taxi drop off but it's worth it for the beautiful location surrounded by trees and nature. The room was comfy and spacious, the shower was hot and the AC worked very well. I had a bar fridge as well which was great. The buffet breakfast was amazing every morning with a huge variety of indian foods, cereal, fruit and fresh juice. The pool was nice to sit in after a long day of walking. Balcony was also great to chill out on. Staff were all super friendly and the reception staff speak great English. Wonderful stay.

It was quite expensive to book, however everything about my stay was wonderful so I really can't complain.

Everything was lovely, the place and the staff. We were upgraded to deluxe double bed room without our request and no extra charge, which was very nice . The buffet was lovely. The staff were willing to adapt with al a carte menu if needed to suit your needs. The place was clean and spotless. The grounds were lovely with plants and trees and plenty seating to enjoy nature

The rooms! They’re damp. No ventilation and the worst part is not accepting Front desk doesn’t accept the feedback. As per them the dampness was because it was base category room. This felt extremely unprofessional and unpleasant.

The environment is very beautiful, the hotel is also very beautiful and clean.most importantly, all the staff here are very helpful and friendly.

Green surrounding, Decently maintained, Serene Location. However, guys need to check fittings and fixtures and replace some broken ones.

Location of property is good...market and lake at walkable distance. Well maintained rooms and property. Overall good to stay. Staff is co operative.

We are not happy about food here. For two days sweet dish available for ala cart is gulabjam n mong dak halwa only. Ice cream was not available. Tandoor was not working so no tandoor items available. Sandwich was not available. Intercom service machine was down, reception and restaurent is contactable thriugh whats app call.

Rooms are not spacious enough for the price. Balconies were not clean. It needs renovation for the rooms and balconies. The biggest downside is food served in buffet, not at all tasty. Breakfast was okay compared to lunch/dinner.

We love the property... the facilities were really nice.. and the manager and the overall staff are very cooperative.....there was some hassle regarding the booking amount because the message regarding booking amount which I received from booking.com was different than what was conveyed to the hotel.. but it got sorted n finally we hd fun time ... PS their hammocks need maintenance.

Location is too good, food quality is also testy? only there villages entey fees, and main gate to hotel entry point by horse or any other local way is too much costly

Food was very ordinary for the price. The room had no ventilation, very stuffy. Pool hours were very limited.

Beautiful, green grounds. We loved the sitting-out terrace. Excellent breakfast included with plenty of choice, sitting next to the pool. Service was brilliant, they helped look after our luggage after checking out and arranged a taxi from Aman Lodge to Panval Station for us. Loved the walks to the different points.

Be careful of the monkeys. Don't leave anything outside. It's a bit of a walk from the station, don't expect to be able to wheel luggage along the paths, however we enjoyed the walk through town.
