B&B Hotel St Gallen

Extremely Clean. Perfect location and great access to public transport. Kind Staff.

No fridge inside the room - No toothbrush in the washroom. The room was too humid - No proper air-conditioning.

Our room was amazing ! If we had booked this earlier in the trip, opposed to our last day, we probably would¿ve booked more days here! We loved this hotel, we loved the breakfast and the staff was just so kind!

Absolutely nothing disappointed us.

the hotel was nice, it had a big lobby that was nice. there was a paid parking at the hotel, but i managed to park outdoors next to hotel.

Location. nothing next to it. not walkable to the town. either need taxi or a car.

Great price/quality ratio! Room was essential but with a lot of space and clean, breakfast was great and served 6am-11am including weekends!

Staff was very friendly, room spacious, hotel.good located, parking available, check-out until 12 o'clock.

They have a free parking space for bicycles and a very good breakfast. The stuff was kind and helpful.

The twin beds are small and a bit uncomfortable .

The receptionist was so nice and welcoming, The room was very spacious and I liked that I could make it completely dark, which helped me sleep better. The high tech blinds were a cool addition. Breakfast was delicious too.

My room faced the train tracks and at night there was a bit of noise, nothing too bad though.

It is located immediately next to the St. Gallen/St. Fiden train station. We wanted to be near the St. Gallen Main train station, but everything there was too expensive. This B&B Hotel cost much less and was like being downtown. The St. Fiden station is only 3, minutes from the main train station. Everything about the hotel was outstanding.

The staff on the reception was super accomodating. Especially the greek woman and the italian guy.Thank you for making it a wonderful stay.

During my 3 nights stay, the cleaning staff didn't go into the room at all the 2 in-between days.I know that I had the "do not distrurb" label for a couple hours each day, but I was away from the room for several hours.Additionally, when I was preparing to leave/checkout, they tried to come in. They should know that I would check out and check with the receiption if I did first (like other hotels do).

Great location to music venue in St. Gallen

There were a lot of little bugs on the window sill and inside our room in the morning. Air conditioning was fairly cool but didn't seem to be as cool as expected..

The staff was really nice.The hotel room was clean and pretty.You can walk in like 20 to 25 min to the center of the city.

Easy access. Great breakfast, especially the coffee.

We were a couple and there was only 1 chair to sit. Two chairs in the room and/or an armed chair would have been nice.

The location was decent—fairly close to Marktplatz—but if you're on foot, you'll need to take public transportation like the train or bus to get there.The room was fine: a bit small, as was the bathroom, but overall it was comfortable.

Breakfast was average, and the options were quite limited.However, the main issue I encountered was the behavior of one of the receptionists. She spoke rudely to customers and even yelled at a couple who had just arrived to check in.When I inquired about breakfast, this same receptionist told me it would be extremely crowded, saying there were "200 people staying at the hotel" and that it would be very tight in the lobby to get food. Her comment discouraged me from purchasing breakfast. Yet, when I went downstairs the next morning, the breakfast area was mostly empty, with plenty of tables available. This made me question why she would try to discourage guests from paying for breakfast, especially when it benefits the hotel financially.I could tell she seemed to be dealing with a personal issue—which I completely understand can happen to anyone—but I don’t believe that justifies treating customers poorly in any circumstance.

It was practical and clean. Super close to the train. Most of the staff was friendly.

There was no private parking, but it was easy enough to find parking and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was pretty average but still expensive. We spilled something at breakfast and the staff member was very annoyed - it was an accident, but the attitude of the staff member was unpleasant. There are not many food places nearby, but there is a hotel vending machine. The snacks are very expensive (14 CHF for insta noodles!). Some more reasonably priced food/snacks at the hotel would have been a plus.

The hotel was clean and modern, good choice for breakfast.

It was quite far from the centre of St Gallen.

Very modern and swish hotel in St Gallen. Clean, comfortable and really lovely - would have loved to stay longer! Free WiFi and friendly staff at check in.
