Convenient location; good rooms; bathrooms adequate and clean; very good breakfast, server, Dorit was lovely.

No one at the front desk most of the day, especially at check-in, therefore, no help.

Great location across from train station and buses too. Very clean, modern, very quiet. Decent choices at breakfast. Lady at breakfast was very friendly and met us with a smile as did the fellow who checked us in. Was a ten minute walk to UNESCO library and Abbey. Just a few more minutes would get you to Kunst.

Location, breakfast, value, room size, comfort.

No front desk staff on duty after 6pm. That was not good for a hotel like this one.

Location right across from the train station (which could be good or bad), but we loved arriving on the train and immediately seeing our hotel.

The window curtains didn't prevent light from entering the room.

When I looked at Booking.com for a hotel in St. Gallen, the notice said there was only one room left in the city. The cost was noticeably higher than I was looking for. The location was exactly what I needed so I went with it. Be sure to read the hotel emails sent out ahead of time. The notice said there would not be an agent at the hotel to welcome guests. They gave a passcode to the front door and gave instructions on how to locate the room key. I would have preferred an agent welcome me. Getting onto the WiFi was not as convenient as at other hotels; once on the internet, it worked fine.

Very good location if you are traveling on Swiss rail. When you walk out of the rail terminal, the hotel is right across the street. Maybe 100 foot walk. My wife and I arrived 3 hours early, but the nice gentleman at the desk, held our bags for us and then had them put in our room after it was ready to be occupied. Good room, all fixtures in good condition. Nice and friendly employees. Good breakfast with a view of the main street and terminal area. City transportation is immediately outside the main door. The hotel has numerous restaurants in the area as well as one in the hotel. We were only there for two days so we did not have a chance to check it out. . The city as a Free visitor card for all of you public transportation so you can even go to Lake Constance for free if you want and still tour the city of St.Gallin.

I went down to Breakfast at 8 AM (middle of service) and most items I wanted were either gone or nearly gone. Not sure why the staff was not replenishing the food as it was not like it was near the end of service.

Location is spot on. Just across the street from the St Gallen train station. Supermarket is around the corner and restaurants are nearby. Walkable to the cathedral and the shops.

Location is great, you can see the SBB station from the window. It's literally across the street. The monastery is also quite close and there are many shops around.It was very clean, bed was really comfortable, breakfast was excellent!Staff was kind and let us leave our bags at the reception while we did some sightseeing.

The rooms could use a little refreshment. It's not a new hotel, that's clear, but the furniture and room door were scratched and it doesn't look so nice anymore.

Literally across the street from the train station, bus/ tram lines but no noise or other issues, only convenience!. Large Very pleasant room with view of clock tower. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice setting. Front desk man was very helpful and helped me make the most of my time there, plus all of his suggestions to my queries worked out very well. Felt safe as female solo traveler. Appreciated the St Gallen transport pass and Aldi type store one block away for wine, snacks, etc. Would stay there again for sure. Had a "chocolate" massage 2 blocks away, took the bus up to the nearby park with lakes and view of Bodensee a quick ride away using the pass, but don't try to walk all the way up there, use the free bus!

Good location !Clean & tidy !Breakfast : was not good service , no warm food as eggs , and the excuse was no cook available , this for the 3 days we stayd at the hotel ., not even boiled egg that you don’t need a cook for to do it !!!And Monday was less guests at the hotel they just had 1 kind of bread and I had to ask if was not other type as I don’t eat white bread , then they said , if you want whole bread I can go to buy it ….we had the feeling because of less guests they served less things , no fruits and other details … but the day before we did had more complete breakfast …. this is no fair with the guests that had paid for it , despite the numbers of the guests at the hotel the service has to be the same .and we didn’t that less …for Swiss standard , no go !!

Superb cleanliness, well prepared breakfast,,accessible to nearby Tourist area, as well opposite to Train Station & bus station, foremost this hotel is very practical,cost saving & time saving. Friendly accomodating Staff.i can recommend this hotel to my friends. very soft COMFORTABLE BLANKET / Comforter.
