Centra Hotel Winterthur

Conveniently located close to the train station. Good neighborhood (restaurants, etc.). The lady at the reception was helpful whenever I needed.

Room was more spartan that I anticipated for the price. Bare minimum. Breakfast was just OK.

It's central, but you're better off at the work life residence.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The pictures make the room look modern but it's clear there's been lots of wear and tear. The desk is so tiny it barely fits a laptop. The kettle top broke off and was just stuck shut. There are stickers covering broken tiles in the bathroom. The shower temperature kept changing.

everything was nice and clean and staff was super friendly

Good size room. Clean. Helpful receptionist

Literally 2 minutes from Winterthur train station. Big room, very clean. Receptionist Always ready to help.

Absolute value for money. Surprised to find such a neat hotel in Winterthur for this price. I usually live in Winti, so haven't ever tried out other hotels in the area, but was very satisfied. No visible staff, everything was automated with codes and messages via WhatsApp, but very clear instructions.Very clean and spacious room, and free Nespresso downstairs in the lobby.Beautiful high ceilings, nice view of a little nook of the city I used to cycle by to get to the station, so a little nostalgic too.Super close to the station, about 3 minutes by foot.

Everything was as to be expected.

Breakfast is just fine and the location is very good. Nearby the main station.

Staff attitude is not good. There are no glasses to have a morning coffee.

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to the station yet quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A big thanks to "Cadi"(Hope I'm writing his name correctly), who was super helpful throughout and even suggested some great places to eat. Really appreciated the warm hospitality!

NA

Great location, since close to train station and down town. Everything was clean and the room had a good size. WE liked that we could open the front door and the room by using the numeric codes.

The bathroom is super small. There is a huge step when you enter the bathroom, which might not work for someone who has problems with that.During the night it can be quite noisy, due to restaurants, bars and train station close by. The breakfast was ok, nothing special and the service could be a bit more attentive.

Very close to the main station. Big room with big window and high ceoling.

The staff, all of them truly friendly and helpful!

Very little soundproofing between rooms and floors. If your upstairs neighbour is up, you are too.Breakfast was limited.

Great location, friendly staff , good value .

It’s basic, great value for what you pay.

The cleanliness of the rooms, the location of the hotel within walking distance from the railway station, the ability to leave luggage before check-in.

The showers are somewhat small in size. But for houses in the old part of the city, this is the norm.

Location

For a week stay, the room floor was never cleaned, even after several request. So you will walk on your mess and others' for all the duration of your stay. they pretend to make the bed daily; and dirty item to have in a hotel toilet (see pictures)

Great location near the railway station. The rooms are very warm. Hot water in the shower. There is an electric kettle and a small refrigerator in the room. Friendly staff. Very attractive price per room.

non.

Central location near to the railway station, but quiet. Espresso machine available for free use in reception area. Excellent, good value breakfast

Very near the train station and the Old Town.

The tiles in the toilet could be fixed so that it would be easier to close the door.

Great staff, friendly, flexible and accommodating

Basic but good, clean, spacious and newly renovated rooms (11/25). Good beds, fridge, bath. All good

Bathrooms door did not close, lights not cosy
