The breakfast was good with ample choices. The room size was okay for 4 persons as a double bunk bed was used and was placed in a reset corner which was not obtrusive. The location was superb, just across the road from the station. Did not see any lift but the ramp was good enough.

The town center is on the other side of the station but just a minute or two longer hence no bad deal. The hotel is a bit pricey.

This is a great hotel for the Zurich Airport departures. It’s steps from the Winterthur train station. In soite of the proximity to activity, it’s very quiet in the rooms.There is a coffee machine with drinks available at all times. There is also a kettle in the room.

The double glazed windows which allowed us to sleep, despite being situated across from the railway station.Very nice breakfast, well managed by a small team of efficient women.Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the railway station.

We'd appreciate a small supply of fresh milk for tea drinkers and a clean kettle.

Hotel Wartmann did not quite match our expectations. The outside property photo appeared a bit outdated, and access by car is challenging with only off-site parking available. The surrounding streets can be noisy at night, which may not be ideal for families.

Right next to the train station, which was very convenient both for Winterthur sightseeing and also for going in and out of town by train. The room was quiet, could not hear the train. Friendly staff.

Parking cost with 30 Euro per night is a bit too high

The hotel is conveniently located next to the main station. It is a short walking distance to the main centre with lots of restuarants. A wide variety for breakfast and very thing was fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great wifi.

Everything was good. Nothing to complain about.

Well located, a 24 hour coffee machine on main floor that makes different kinds of coffee, the breakfast buffet was delicious with a great assortment of meats, cheeses and breads amongst other options.

I liked everything. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

pillows were super thin. there was no coffee in the room, only water boiler and some tea bags.

Location- right across the street from the train station. Even though our room faced the train station, it was quiet. We had to leave before breakfast, but the 24 hour coffee station was nice. Simple but clean hotel.

Little difficult to find. The name of the hotel isn't on the actual entrance. It is on the building but there are other businesses on the bottom. There is a "Hotel Entrance" sign, but when we entered there was another hotel name (advertisement) on the board and so we thought we were in the wrong place. Little mix-up but no big deal.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Housekeeping did a great job. Excellent location with modern rooms. Breakfast was good.

Lovely breakfast and a very smart and modern room. View of the back of the station! You can nip through the station to the main bit of Winterthur, but the area around the hotel is nice too.

Reception was closed on Sunday evening, and also on Monday morning when I left (early) - disappointing.

It was clean. The staff were amazing! It was close to the train station! The breakfast was wonderful.

It would have been nice to have a table to eat at, when we brought dinner back. The lounge was nice, but the tables were low and a little difficult.
