Hotel Bodensee

Very nice stay near the town center and the lake. Easy walk from the main station and even closer to the hafen station. Also very close to the Pfänderbahn.Nice breakfast, and the room was comfortable and cozy.

A very minor thing, but it would be nice if the room had better curtains to block out light. But I would gladly stay here again.

Room was so spacious and comfortable. Very airy and light. Breakfast was great and staff are just so warm and welcomimg.

The room was small but still very aptly furnished and comfortable.The staff were very very friendly and welcoming and went over and beyond to help make my stay comfortable.It's very central and breakfast is also a very nice spread.

In-person check-in was quick and efficient with the administrative trivia handled digitally in advance. Free limited private parking available, lots of affordable street parking via the EasyPass app, and expensive parking garages. Beautiful hotel right on the inside edge of the historic district and within an easy walk of sites, cafes, and restaurants. Room was a good size making it easy to lay out luggage without tripping over things. Good wardrobe space to hang clothes. Plenty of accessible electrical outlets. WI-FI was strong and reliable making it easy to upload pictures and conduct video chats. Large bathroom by European standards was well maintained with great water pressure and temperature control in the shower and lots of space for toiletries. Sizeable mini fridge. Single bed with duvet and big thick pillows were very comfortable. You could open the window for cool fresh air or turn on the overhead fan, which provided a great night’s sleep. Typical and sufficient cold continental breakfast. Communication was both proactive and responsive and front desk was very friendly and helpful providing useful information.

It can get a little loud and rowdy on the weekend if you’re in a room facing the main street. If you arrive on the weekend and late in the evening, parking – other than expensive garage parking – can be difficult to find. Bregenz seems to be VERY popular. Maybe having a deal with the garage across the street for a discounted hotel rate would be truly the cherry on top. That would make this hotel a 10+!

Room with a lake view

The panorama was amazing and the lake was wonderfull. I like that is very close to the center and it had a lot of restaurants close to the hotel.

Everything was amazing.

Superb location in the heart of Bregenz. Underground parking garage across the street with 24 hr access with max rates being reasonable. Grocery store and central train station across the street. Restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating everywhere. Communication was excellent. Free breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices. Staff was super friendly. Comfortable beds.

We booked two rooms, one double room with balcony and one economy single room. Our stay was during unseasonably warm weather averaging 30 degrees. The double room with balcony was delightful...on the top floor and had functioning air conditioning, which was a blessing. The economy single room was on the 2nd floor. The room size was ok for a single occupant for one night (it matched the photos and description), but there was no air conditioning on that floor, so not the most comfortable night of sleep.

The location of the hotel is really good, very central. The breakfast leaves much to be desired. The beds and pillows were not comfortable.

This hotel is located on the edge of the "down town" area of Bregenz. 2 minutes to Lake Constance and 2 mins to Train station Bregenz Hafen 6min to Bregenz Main Train Station. Clost to Cable Car station too. There is a big supermarket right across the road. Park House 20 meters away. The single room is well designed. Place for luggage. Enough power outlet. Very clean. My bed was comfortable.Very friendly hotel personnel. I felt home. Breakfast may not have a lot of choices like in a big hotel but has top quality.

A house on such a location is usually old therefore not well soundproofed. And the wall between rooms is thin. I could hear my neighbors movement. especially when he/she is using water. But a pair of earplugs solved this problem.

Closeness to the lake and trainstation. And lovely breakfast and easy going staff.

The windows were very leaky. You could hear any word outside as if the people were in your room. The windows need an update.

Hotel was good, we had a balcony room. Good position to town centre and other facilities. WC was broken but fixed very quickly.

To enter hotel there is about 8 steps so had to carry luggage up the steps, there was no ramp, not practical for a disabled person (no im not disabled) but are group were older travellers.

An excellent central location. Friendly staff. A good breakfast buffet. Very quiet. Good value for money. A very small room, but cosy nevertheless.

It's in an ideal position for a business stop-over on the way from/to Germany or a week-end at the lake.

Quality of pillow to be improved. Cost of the parking of the overnight stay (9.00 pm to 8.00am) relatively high 14 Eur.
