    Pros +

    • The management and staff!!!
    • Great place to stay for scuba diving enthusiasts. Good location only a short boat ride from dozens of awesome dive sites. The staff, divemaster and owner are very friendly and made our stay memorable. It was an exceptional dive experience. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. I hope to go back someday.
    • The staff and owners were very friendly. The Filipino food along with a fusion of other styles was also very good. Their speed boat got us to a good snorkeling site quickly. Snorkeling is also available in front of the resort.

    Cons -

    • Slightly bigger rooms would be nice. But I don’t think the trade is worth eliminating the beautiful existing wood architecture. Due to rocks it is difficult to get into water at low tide. Mid to higher tide, no problem.
    • Unfortunately, the resort is not clean, rooms are dirty and areas around the main rooms are not kept tidy. It is not so much that the facilities are not updated but being clean and tidy is enough to allow a decent stay. It lacks maintenance. The resort is meant for scuba diving and that is what it is; equipment are up to date and clear training schedule for divers. On the other hand, the water area is full of stones and boulders with no place to actually swim for children nor walk along for adults. So basically, it is not a resort for family outing. It seems that the management is starting to renovate.
    • going to the resort and back to the main road is terrible. it is too steep and rough.also it took us more than an hour waiting for our rooms to be ready

The good part: good wifi connection in all areas of the resort, easy to talk to the staff and helpful in assisting us to adjust to a better and cleaner room, and tasty Filipino food.

The property was wonderful. The beach is a rocky beach, but the snorkeling was perfect. We saw some wonderful sea life. the pool was clean and the nature all around us was perfect.

    The property was great!

The staff at this establishment are exceptionally friendly, and the owner is very welcoming. Guests can use kayaks and goggles free of charge, which enhances the overall experience. The rooms are well-appointed, and the air conditioning provides excellent cooling. However, there are some accessibility challenges to consider. Access may be difficult for elderly guests or those with mobility issues, as reaching the rooms requires using stairs. Additionally, the parking area has a rocky section that larger vehicles can navigate, but standard cars might struggle with this access. For future improvements, it would be beneficial to improve the road leading to the parking area, add a ramp or lift for guests with disabilities, and consider creating maybe a karaoke area or room or a Play Area for guests to enjoy. Overall, guests have reported a superb stay.

Water front. The owner is nice lady, the staff are friendly.

No internet. Tiny rooms, very spartan. No TV. Mediocre food. Caters only to divers. It’s a water front property but no beach, it’s rocky.

Location with sunset viewStaff are all helpful and friendlyOwner Jen is very kind

As the leader of the group & the one who found the Resort, I expected to be placed in the nicest available room , as I also requested weeks before our arrival that i prefer ocean view but instead our room was at the end with no ocean view at all.. It's good that another ocean view room got available on our 2nd day and I was the one who initiated the room transfer . I wish this little details be paid attention to .

It seemed like a place with a history, and the staff reinforced that; it had all the amenities one would normally want from a dive resort; nice sitting area by the water and kayaking available for free

The room and bathroom felt a little old and shabby; the buffet was ok, but it wasn’t something we wanted to do for more than half of our meals, and other options were relatively few

    10Rachel A.Posted on: 9-23-2024

It was nice to hang around the hammock and just feel the breeze. One can actually just swim right in front of the property and see a lot of sea creatures. No need to go by boat. The staff also helped us go farther out and showed us the different creatures under the sea - clownfish, seahorse, turtle, etcFood was great as well and you can have tea or coffee anytime for free.Best part really were the friendly owners and staff. They make you feel at home and make you want to go back. Gen, we’ll definitely be back and do the scuba diving lessons!

It’s not that we didn’t like it but I guess something to improve on.There was no sign that reception area was at the bottom of the stairs. We were a bit lost at the start as to where to go.The barn door to the toilet was a bit hard to move. Probably needs oil.

Beautiful view of the sea! The staff were very warm and accommodating. Also the food was delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

    10Anna L.Posted on: 3-31-2024

This trip was primarily to test new gear. It exceeded our expectations because instead of our expected house reef dive, we were brought to a new site where a massive school of jacks have been monitored. Before that was a dive for small critters, the personal highlight of which was enjoying the sight of a seahorse. All good experiences!

Waterfront, free use of goggles, swim vest, aqua shoes and kayak

Breakfast included but the only Food served for 350/person were pork tocino, white rice, white bread, butter, coco jam, coffee and water. Not worth it! They should serve fresh fruits and vegetables. They charge 500/person buffet lunch or dinner with only 3 dishes: chicken curry, chopsuey and something else with rice. i booked for 13 people plus we had 4 additional guests as gift to my family to experience an overnight getaway together for the very first time. MY sister brought a rice cooker and home cooked pork dish as her share for our family to save some money on food expenses for dinner. Guess what!. The owners and staff Razzelle charged us 250/guest to allow us cook rice, eat 1 dish we brought and use their dining tables/chairs. They were so concerned with comments and questions the other guests would complain if we eat our packed meal and cook our own rice. We ended up buying cooked rice from the town center and eat together as family in the parking lot in the dark using backlights of our 2 autos and cellphone flashlights. They did not allow us sit on their gazebo chairs. Fine, we fed our kids a dinner in a diving resort without any picnic table and have strict rules on brought foods by guests. HASSLE! Not family friendly. Only snacks were allowed to be eaten outside the rooms. Here are the worse service: bathrooms have hot water heater but all the water pressures in all rooms were so weak if you will use the shower head. There were no pails and scoop/tabo to bath.-We had 2 move from 1 family room to 2 rooms because the A/C unit was not working! They don't quality check rooms before checkin. The water from the faucet was so stinky - septic! I had to make it run long so I could take a shower and brush my teeth In room 19! Razzelle, SUCKER made big commission of 5k from boat rentals for island hopping. She charged us 6,500/boat of 2. Local Boatmen said 4,000/boat only.

Looking out to sea was always so relaxing, and the place was photogenic. Staff was great! snorkeling and diving tours were great too.

certain spots seemed unkempt. noisy neighboring resorts. sign up on the main road was rusty and faded. then you descend into this narrow alley without much instructions or signs. rooms felt more like a retreat. nothing to do at the resort so go on snorkeling tours everyday.

    8KatleyaPosted on: 1-3-2023

The staff is very accommodating. Jen let me borrow fins and snorkeling mask. I was snorkeling solo but Robert assisted me so I felt safer while snorkeling.

We didn't have a choice when it comes to food since it was required to avail of their buffet. And then the next meal wasn't a buffet but with the same price. Though the serving size is good enough but we expected that it was buffet too since they only have one price which is P500 per person.

    10RandyPosted on: 1-3-2023

We wanted a quiet place to get away between the holidays and found just that. Not being divers was ok with us, as we had no plans to dive. But my daughter and her friend ended up getting certified - after we booked a second stay over New Years! Amazing.

it was a perfect quiet get-away with welcoming staff. The owners made us feel part of their family and like guests in their home. Truly, one of our most memorable family holidays.
