Food was good

We were put in three different rooms because of problems I paid for three nights but only stayed one nightOffice couldn’t refund me my two nights I didn’t stay.The office staff was not very organized.Don’t recommend this place to anyone

Very budget friendly, facilities are a bit dated but still cozy with retro vibes. The beach is also a short distance from the rooms. The Mexican food was quite good too.

The Mexican food was good, yet a bit pricey. A bit contradictory from the budget friendliness of the room price itself.

Mr. Frank Lacson and his team (Ms. Teresa, Niño, Jomar, Julio…) were perfect hosts and we spent some lovely 2 1/2 days in Papagayo. Their beach front is so clean and the whole resort feels like home. Frank has an interesting sporty history, let him tell you about it!! My mom and uncle were supposed to join us on this short trip but he unfortunately had to be hospitalized the day before we left. Even though their room was non refundable we still received a voucher! My mom and uncle are already planning the use of it ?. Thank you Frank for having us meet you and your family too!! Has a beautiful beach facing garden, unique design & architecture, stands out from the rest. Has a simple & traditional style that feels cosy & homely. All staff were very nice & welcoming, great service. Food was also very very good. In my opinion, this is by far the best resort in the area. Had a wonderful time staying here, and will love to come again.

Friendly and helpful staff and property nicely kept up - quiet location

I was not honored with my senior citizen discount, which I received everywhere else outside but not at their own restaurant facilities. It did help going out and find new places

The room smell was so bad I left the property and found a new hotel Desperate need of redecoration

Nice hotel with a great price and onsite parking. Rooms are good, beds are comfortable and bathroom is clean and functional. Airco is cold although a little loud but at least the bed is not in the airstream. Personnel is friendly and breakfast was tasty. Location is excellent, parking is available on site and right on the beach.

Lighting in the room was very dim and only two towels are provided, airco is little on the noisy side.

Liked the mexican foods selection from the restaurant, the waterfront view and accommodating staffs.

This is the third time that we stayed here and each time we have been extremely happy. The property has prime beachfront. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the menu is varied and incredibly delicious. They really go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Beachfront, has a restaurant available for your convenience, accessible to commute and provided easy instruction on how to get there. If you like going to bars at night, there are plenty around the area. Ambiance of the hotel is fit for couples, since the setup is romantic.

Beach is not that clean. Mostly bars around the area, so limited choice/places to have breakfast unless you opt their restaurant. Also, their restaurant is kind of expensive. Staff are not so friendly.

we rented a family room and miscalculated the number of beds. 5 people in the family room that already had 2 double beds and a twin bed sleeping sofa. We ordered an extra bed, and the reception had confirmed only 5 would stay in the room. They could have said no need as there already was enough sleeping space. Instead they accepted the extra bed for 700 pesos a night for 3 nights. The extra bed was a 2 piece matrass to have on the floor. >_<The rooms did not get roomservice since noone answered(they told us upon checkout). This meant we had 1 roll of toilet paper per room for 3 days. There should not be a need to ask the reception for toilet paper. There should be extra stock in the rooms.There were cockroaches in the room. I wacked a 7cm one by hammering my wife's shoe. The showers had 3 knobs we were not told how to use. right release pressure, middle cold water , left hot water. The shower head is fixed making it extremely hard to shower properly as it almost hit the other wall waste high. Threat of penalty fees to bring ANY outside food in is a no-no. Especially when their food is 5 times more expensive than outside the resort. We ate at two places and paid 1000 and 2000 pesos for filling 8 people's bellys. We ate once at the resort and paid 6500 pesosThe resort charge a 5% service fee even when not servicing. My wife went to the bar to order a glass of juice for our kid. 120 pesos + 20 pesos service fee. 140 pesos for a 250ml glass of juice is hillarious.All that said. The staff is superfriendly and great.I got bitten a lot during sleep. Did not look like mosquito bites, so we suspect it were ant bites.Tip: They have wifi free, but never ever use wifi in resorts as it makes it supereasy for anyone to wiretap all people's username and passwords who are connected to the same wifi. Their wifi is a 100Mbit shared connection.

The beach

Everything. The staff were rude, the cost to stay was more than what the quality of the facility is. You have to pay corkage fee for alcohol you bring. The facility is just a money grabber.
