Noisy, congested rooms, away from city & expensive

The breakfast was excellent. The quality of the food was top. The room was as in the photo and very clean. Good value.

The bed mattress was a bit too soft for me.

Clean accommodation, soaps/shampoo available in the shared bathrooms, floormats changed out daily. The bed was super comfortable and we slept well. There were towels available and some room to hang / fold clothes. We got in pretty late due to our flight and there were lockboxes available,we just had to dial into the hotel to reach the receptionist for the lockbox code.

Sometimes the room got pretty hot, we stayed during the month of June and had to leave the windows open. This meant bugs could sometimes get in. Was 10 minutes away by car to the centre of the city.

The hotel is located very conveniently on the road towards Konstanz, and it provides a parking lot for guests. Although quite small, we were lucky to find a spot always. The room was located away from the main street, so it was quite quiet and we were able to sleep with the windows open.

Room: there is no air conditioning and the room stayed very hot throughout the night;Breakfast's time: we were asked to indicate a time for breakfast before starting our stay, and we had to strictly adhere to it both days. Not a big problem per se, but it felt less relaxed than other hotels we stayed in;Communication: all messages from the hotel, as well as all signs in the hotel and rooms are exclusively in German, so be ready to use Google Translate.

The lady handling the check in was kind, helped me with my stuff so I didnt have to carry it upstairs and offered me delicious cheese spetzle even though I came late and the kitchen was closed. Great place to stay - felt like good old Germany 10 years ago when people behaved politely and nice to each other. Can only recommend!

A great place to stay for the price

Maybe it was my room location but I could not get the WiFi to work. I would log in with the password and nothing would work so just had to use data.

I really like our stay! The room was very comfortable and warm. The staff was very lovely. Everyone made us feel comfortable, even if we had to walk around the restaurant, during dinner, with our 5-month-old daughter to keep her entertained. They also went above and beyond by keeping our dishes warm and making sure we could enjoy our dinner (food was also delicious!).I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone!

The hotel is close to the bus stop to Konstanz, even if the bus arrived very late comparing to the timetable.

The breakfast is served in an hotel 100 meter far from the hotel, very uncomfortable especially in winter.The staff asked me to buy the breakfast even if the reservation was with breakfast included.

The hosts are friendly. And they offer free breakfast for us as the price is a bit high. The room has very fundamental items inside. Kind of just offering bed for sleep. The restaurant at the ground floor is superb. Very cozy environment and delicious traditional German food.

The sound isolation is not very good. You can easily hear the traffic outside.

There were plenty of bathrooms so even though they were shared you never had to wait and they were clean. You could also take drinks from the restaurant up to your room.

The curtains barely stopped the light from coming in each morning. You can hear everything that’s happening in the corridors. The pillows were also not great.

Friendly and helpful staff at check-in , at restaurant and at breakfast. Breakfast had good selections available for the whole family, also the Kegelbahn for free for guests which we had great fun using !

We had an topfloor bedroom was a bit warm and the small bathroom needs some better ventilation. But otherwise room was tidy and had lovely wooden furniture.

It was extremely tidy. Even though I had selected the shared bathroom option, it was always super tidy no matter what time I used the facilities. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant terrace was great.

The rooms were right next to a big road and traffic light. It was warm and so we had to sleep with open windows. The noise from the traffic was not pleasant

A nice, spacious room with a sink. Tasty breakfast. The benefit was free tickets for buses around the area (Konstanz, Mainau Island).

The room had windows facing the street, so it sometimes disturbed the traffic from the street (cars, people talking). Breakfast 100 m from the hotel, bathroom and toilet in the corridor.
