The breakfast

Extremely tiny room, no facilities, no parking, not worth the price.

Breakfast was great. Location excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.

Need to improve lighting in hotel entryway. Couple of gray/black tile steps are easy to miss.

Room was very spacious with balcony; bathroom was modern with walk-in shower; bed was comfy; and breakfast had sufficient variety. location in centre of Constance was great for cafes and supermarket

Access to hotel from footpath was via stairs making it difficult with heavy bags; breakfast area a little small and subject to some crowding

This was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. Only after the booking was irrevocably confirmed, the hotel informed us by email that the reception would close at 10pm, and that check-in after that time would only be possible through another nearby hotel until 11pm. We arrived slightly after midnight and found the hotel completely closed, with no way to access our room. One of the two nights was entirely lost.To be clear, the communication itself was explicit. However, unlike most hotels that offer key handover or access arrangements for late arrivals, this hotel had no solution. An earlier arrival was simply not possible for us.On the second day, we were finally able to access our room. The accommodation was clean and functional, though very hot due to the sun exposure throughout the day. There was no air conditioning, only a fan provided. Breakfast was acceptable and relatively varied for this type of hotel.Overall, the lack of flexibility and inadequate provisions for late arrivals made this a deeply frustrating experience. We will not be returning.

Location is very central, but that’s about the only positive.

It’s much less clean and nice than in the photos. The rooms are unbearably hot even when the night drops to 15 degrees. Just a fan mounted near the window would do the trick, but they just give you some low power floor fans. It sends like there is only one person on staff, and they are often not at their desk, so check in and questions are confusing. We came as a bike group, but then were told our bikes needed to be taken a few streets away to another hotel. Also, there is an elevator, but with steps at the entrance and within the hotel, it’s very challenging if you bring a stroller. Really not worth the price.

The location is very convenient and the hotel overall was nice

Not all the staff was helpful. We wanted to heat up babyfood before heading to the station and the receptionist didn't make an effort to help at all

Very good location, nice and clean room. If the windows had shutter and the pillows were not so soft, then our experience would have been even better

The hotel is close to rail and bus links. Quiet for a central area with plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby

The shower was odd and would turn cold intermittently.

Modern and clean room, very convenient location next to the main station.Only negative would be the detergent irritated my skin, but more of a me problem than the hotels problem I believe.

The only problem was that there were 2 single beds and not 1 double bed.

Everything. Liked it all. The check in staff were very nice and helpful. The room nice, overlooking the street. Shower could be larger. The breakfast was very good! The only thing that could have been better, and it's partially my fault for not asking more questions, but the parking situation was not familiar to us. We found the parking garage ok, and found a parking spot ok, but couldn't figure out how to get out past the gate arm (signage not in English) Lucky for us, an American speaking local was behind me and was very nice to help. I let him by, and he walked back inside to get my ticket "and took it to the validation machine, he paid my 25 Euros, and brought me back the ticket to get out. He even said that if I didn't have the cash to pay him, that was ok. I did have the cash, and did pay him.So please have your front desk people explain to guests that drive a car to town, that if they need to use the parking garage, explain the process to get out of the garage, if they are new to that type of thing. Thx you!!

It was all GOOD

Breakfast was very nice. Excellent location and rooms. However, my room was close to the kitchen and breakfast room and, therefore, quite noisy.

Staff and food and cleanliness

Location was perfect; easy to walk around the town. Great restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were lucky to have a room with a small balcony that looked out over a cobbled stone street (walking only street so no cars to be heard from the room). From the outside it looked like only a few rooms had balconies. The breakfast was good with lots of choices to suit people from different countries.

The only downfall being a typical small German town is that there is no parking at the hotel and car parking is expensive in the town. Although we did find a car park that was free between 8pm and 9am each day, which was just under a five minute walk to the hotel.

Location is perfect, right in the city center. Breakfast has all options you need and pretty good. The room itself is barely ok. Employees are really nice too !

Comfort of the room itself is just ok, I do not think it is great value for the price paid (but I may not be aware of the prices in Konstanz, I stayed only for a night). Even if I was alone, I got a double bed but one person sized sheets, which for the price I found to be a really cheap choice. I would have preferred a single-sized bed with appropriate sheets if choice was given. Strange choice. The door of the shower in the bathroom was not closing properly so water everywhere.
