Pros +
- Pleasant staff and clean room.
- I used this hotel for an overnight stay while traveling from Switzerland to Austria. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Like other ibis budget hotels, the property is designed mainly for overnight stays. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was truly satisfying. There is also a large supermarket located close to the hotel.
- The rooms can accommodate 3 persons
Cons -
- You can use the indoor parking garage for an additional daily fee. However, when I arrived at the hotel in the evening, there were no available parking spaces left after I parked my car. When the hotel occupancy is high, I’m not sure whether it is always possible to find an available parking spot.
- The room is extremely small and basic, so is the bathroom.
- You have to pay for parking in the parking garage, but if you leave for dinner, there is no guarantee that you will find a parking space in the garage again….so if you want dinner you have to walk or pay a taxi on top of paying for parking your car. Also I booked months in advanced, asking for our two rooms to be close to each other. They could not even get us on the same floor.

It was clean and modern

Clean, good location & wonderful staff.
Very basic - no extras such as coffee maker or fridge in room.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The aircon was at least working in August. Late check-in was possible. Aldi is nearby so at least there is an option of buying food.
Let's start with if this hotel would not be utterly ridiculously overpriced for what it offers I wouldn't say a thing. 550 eur for 4 nights for this is robbery. It does not worth half of it from what it "offers". The location is bad to begin with if you planning to travel to Switzerland from Konstanz central because there aren't many trains/buses late at night/early at the morning to get there. The breakfast is more than poor, no hot meal just some cold cuts. The room was clear I agree but basically has no amenities, no minibar, no water kettle, 1 cheap hair/body shampoo, 10 channels on the TV overall all German, cmon in 2025 that's the best you can offer. The neighborhood is bad to say the least, you can encounter tons of drunkards, alcoholics and drifters in the down parking lot. Regardless that Aldi is next door the food you can buy there is one of the worst quality discount products, they don't have 1 single cooled down beer. Kaufland is a much better option in town. Besides that there are simple things they could fix with low effort eg; when you go into your room and plug your card in the lights turn on for a second then off again so you need to turn it back on, the AC is working but how much does it cool was varying every day regardless I had it on the highest setting. The checkin itself is ambiguous on booking.com it says until 1800, nope they have nonstop reception you just have to walk over to the Styles part, at least get that right on the website.
I stayed here for one night during my bike trip around the Bodensee. Clean, comfortable, and very quiet... the best night of sleep I got during the four-day trip. Loved that I could open a window for fresh air. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and worth the minimal extra charge since there are no bakeries in the vicinity. I appreciated being able to park my bicycle in the locked garage with elevator access.
It was a bit removed from the city/downtown area and couldn't be walked to. But accessible by bike, bus or car.
breakfast was good, lady adorable, available fom 6:30am on. The room was clean and spacious.
staff at the desk not very comprehensive. Bathroom flush not working, no alternatives or solutions proposed by them. Fallback to "manual bucket" solution, but .. the basics of that hotel are not working and the staff at the desk are not very friendly when confronted with their own problems. No reimbursement proposed by them, that is unprofessional, definitely look somewhere else. The location isn't that great either but OK for an IBIS.
Good buffet breakfastBike Storage
Bike storage is too small for number of bikes
Location
No room service, although I have put the "please clean the room"sign correctly on the door.
Location good. Room nice and light and good size. Good bathroom facilities.
Difficult to enter as not clear you can't go in Budget main door but round to other side. I was asked to give passport details for entry using QR code and staff did not use or know what this was. No kettle or cups for morning cup of tea is below all other places for equipment. No bins emptied or any staff to see on budget side felt unsupportive.
Close to the bus stationInsulated windows that absorb the noise of the motorway
Very sparse room facilities despite €100 for two nights No second towel No glass or mug available for brushing teeth Duvet too thin and no second spare duvet available4 coat hangers and one trouser hanger not sufficient when 2 guests are travellingCheck-in was cheerless and boring, with no useful explanations about the hotel. The staff seemed annoyed and avoided smiling. On arrival at 14:38, I was firmly told to wait until 15:00. Nothing would happen before then. No sign of any flexibility. At check-in I was unabashedly told that the room was dirty and that we would have to find another room quickly. No mention of the breakfast offer. The free public transport ticket was also not mentioned, not offered. I found out about this from the city's tourist office and spent money on the bus for nothing. The room card was also not programmed correctly, I stood in front of a locked room door late in the evening and had to go back to reception to ask for a new card.
The room was really nice, comfortable bed, amazing deal for the price. The location was quiet with a supermarket really nearby. The staff let guests use the staff fridge — that’s cool.
The cleaning wasn’t great, but I accepted it since this isn’t a fancy hotel. But a few days I left the "please clean my room" sign on the door and they simply ignored it — that was annoying.
Choose elsewhere during hot weather conditions.
Extremely hot in room with no temperature control and to open a window an employee had to come as it was locked. Once window opened noise of traffic didn’t let us sleep. Garage for parking could not open had to go multiple times to reception so they open the garage.
Modern, simple and clean budget hotel, at the outskirts of Konstanz next to a commercial area with a supermarket and a couple of restaurants. The first night we had a room facing a major road, recommend to ask for a room facing the parking lot, so that you can keep the windows open. The bed was fine, there was only one pillow each, there is very little storage and only some coat hangers. The bathroom is compact, but clean and modern. Staff were all friendly. Parking is €10 unless you can find a free spot outside.Would stay again for a good deal
The bed were super comfortable, honestly. Once the window were shut, the noise of the nearby highway was completely silenced. The hotel was just fine, and we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get into the downtown area. The rooms were very warm and the fans were not working, making it very uncomfortable for my partner. Also, the rings could benefit from blackout curtains or shutters to help cut out the light. All in all, we were very satisfied with what we got for the price we paid. We will be staying here again on our next visit.
Decent price, bit of a walk into town bit busses also available near by. Nice and friendly staff.
One small pillow and one towel is a bit meagre
The location is quite quiet and transportation is easy, that bus stop is 2 min away, brining you to Konstanz Hbf
The vending machine was not working
A very nice hotel for one night, the breakfast was quite tasty, and there were no issues with parking near the hotel.
breakfast was great, staff was friendly, Aldi opposite well-stocked :)!
very noisy early morning outside - NOT the hotels fault!
