    Pros +

    • Nice comfortable beds & bedding.
    • The location was great for train travel and easy to explore the town. The welcome drink was much appreciated. Room was perfect for an overnight stay.
    • A place right across the street from the main train station and on the edge of the Old Town. Clean, cozy, perfectly situated, and with a nice terrace. I'll be back definitely.

    Cons -

    • Maids during checkout were smoking outside the back door and the smoke was traveling through the entire building. This is not good for a Non-Smoking hotel. They could be outside smoking but should keep the doors closed.
    • It would be great to have a lift in a 3 story hotel. We had 2 large suitcases to carry up 2 stories to get to the room. Also the code was not well described. I had installed the app and a long 8 digit code was indicated which I thought was the access to the hotel door. I realized what it was when i read "Are you at the hotel already?" and got the correct code.Once up at the room I thought it was the 4 digit code under room number. After multiple attempts to get in I saw a guest and asked which code to use and it turned out to be the longer 8 digit code. It was not well described at all. Also at 545 when we checked out the front hotel door was wide open.
    • People ignore the night hours. It's not the fault of the hotel, people are just people. But maybe signs that you are very much heard when talking on the staircase at 2 am would help. I don't think the guests realize that when they talk on the staircase in the rooms it sounds as if someone was arguing in your room ;)

    Self-service. Enjoyable facilities, decorations amazing!

There's no chance to lock the luggage before checking in, although I sent a message to get the entrance code in advance ?

Very convenient to the shopping area, restaurant and the main station.

The bed is way too soft, and our room is facing the street side, so during the midnight it's quite noisy. Also, other room guests were loud at midnight... especially when they got drunk and closed the doors loudly..

Very pleasant, small room. Nice bathroom. Clean. Hot water heater. Very good location.

If the room faces the street, it's difficult to leave the window open due to noise from restaurants, music, etc. No reception. Did not receive email with code to enter room and hotel.

great location, very close to the train station and shops.

do not pay to get the so-called breakfast. It's not worth it at all. only receive a box each morning at the doorstep. Not a very good experience. Especially if you travel early, the box only comes in after 8:00am ( Sunday is after 8:30am). Not the breakfast I expected. A complete waste of money.

Fantastic experience. Room is bright, comfortable and has everything you need. The staff where amazing. My luggage was delayed and had to be delivered by courier the hotel went out their way to make sure they received my luggage on my behalf, put it in my room and noticed me immediately when it had arrived.

The fact that I felt at home thanks to the staff. Also the location is amazing.

Personally I don't prefer soft mattresses. Everything else was great

    Poor

Parking is advertised and priced in, but does not exist

    4AlysaPosted on: 8-20-2024

Very close to the train station to the lovely shopping and dining area.

There was no air conditioning and we were on the very top floor with no elevator. The staff left before we arrived at 6 o’clock and we were forced to get our bags by 3 PM the next day. She could’ve provided us a key to at least get into the lobby, so we could enjoy the town for.

    7IsabelPosted on: 6-30-2024

Carmen and Johann were very friendly. Great location right near the train station, lake harbor, and all the main sites.

The hot water made the pipes squeal. Luckily it was hot outside, so we didn't take hot showers.

    8WilliamPosted on: 6-26-2024

Very friendly staff and very good breakfast.the location is ver central and close to a 24hr car park.

No lift available, our room was on the second floor, forget to check this detail. No ac unit was provided with an industrial fan which helps to overcome the high temps which are not normal . also shower facility tight if your a big build.

    9YazminPosted on: 6-25-2024

The location is excellent, close to the train station, the Pier, mutiple restaurants and shopping areas.. The staff is excellent, super nice hosts that make you feel at home all the time.

The room can get a bit warm, we had to sleep with the window opened because we can't sleep with the noise of a ventilator. Unfortunately, if you open the window the street can be loud which could be an issue for light sleepers. There are multiple parkings in the area at 25 euros per night.

Very nice location in the city center, very convenient. The property is also pretty nice and the rooms are decent. The staff is very kind and at the customer’s disposal.

We spotted several bed bugs in our room before sleeping. We called the receptionist late at night and he was very quick in helping us change rooms which was great. But I will not recommend it during this period of time (June 2024)
