Excellent location. Loved the Architecture!

AC was not cooling and it was a hot summer night.

Location is excellent. Nice facility, pleasant staff.

Very central location close to the Swiss boarder. Staff was polite and accommodating

Overall a bit run down and not too well taken care of - the bathroom door was full of stains and we even found a dead bee underneath a bathroom towel. The faucets were old and squeaky. The WiFi was incredibly spotty or just not working at all. We were told that the device provider Telekom had informed the hotel about issues with their internet os maybe it was temporary but it was a true struggle if you have to rely on WiFi for work or travel matters

Location was great. Staff were friendly even though we didn’t speak German.

The key system. They should go to a fully automated system with cards.

Room was a little small, but not a deal breaker

An elegant and beautifully kept hotel located in the charming old town across from the train station. Comfortable bed in a lovely single room that was perfectly outfitted. Friendly and efficient staff. Ignaz brasserie next door offered many delicious and traditional entrees.

I upgraded from a standard room to a superior room, and I couldn’t tell you the difference between the two, with the exception of a lakeside view that was over the train station and very loud due to construction. The standard room would have been worth the price. The superior room was not.

Everything was exceptional, it is located 2 minutes from the train station however the rooms are very quiet. Very clean and spacious rooms, beds and pillows were comfy. Staff were very polite and 24 hour reception.

Hotel is DIRECLY across from the train station; we were on the 3rd floor and heard no street noise however (good windows). AND hotel has an elevator. Location made it convenient to go have day excursions to the Insel Mainau, as well as to Sankt Gallen in Switzerland.Splurged on the Breakfast Buffet on our last day -- it was well worth the 20 Euros. Just remember to sign up the evening before to ensure a spot. Room had a hot water kettle with some instant coffee packets and some tea bags, with real coffee cups. STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WERE AMAZING and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

It did not occur to me to ask at the front desk for more coffee packets or creamers for our 3-day stay.

Such a day access from the station; great views of the Lake; great value for the money; very comfortable room; will allow 2:00 pm checkout for a reasonable additional charge; very good breakfast buffet; staff very friendly to solo traveler, especially at breakfast.

Rooms are never ready until 4:00 pm.

Fabulous view of Lake Constance; tremendous value for money; super-comfortable room with spotless, modern bathroom and rain forest shower; amazingly convenient to Konstanz train station barely 30 yards across the street, arrivals and departures effortless yet no noticeable noise from trains and still right in the middle of shops and restaurants, with the lakefront walkway and excursion boat dock just steps away.

Have stayed multiple times, usually arriving in late morning, and room has never been ready until 4:00 pm. Understand that no hotel can guarantee early check-in for everybody (unless customer books previous night), but would think such a beautifully run facility could occasionally accommodate.

The location is great and the staff is always very friendly (it was my second stay there). Beds are comfortable and water pressure is solid.

Our room was mostly clean (save for a couple corner dust bunnies), but the score I gave was for the terribly shoddy WiFi connection, a la 2002. The front desk was informed, of course. Rooms on the far side of the hotel [we were in #201] would really benefit from another access point closer in that direction .Although they say there is a 'hotspot', I resorted to using mobile data and had to buy an additional GB to get through some of the work I had to do.

Perfect location. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed the food in the Marakesh restaurant. The staff were very helpful.
