The location is really cool, right next to the lake/ferry, and a bus station. Just down the hill from the college. Very reasonable mini fridge prices.

The blankets are slippery and slide off the bed when you're sleeping. Hard to get comfortable.

The parking was a problem. Not the hotel’s fault. Just the way it is there. We ended up parking in the ferry parking lot which is a 2 minute walk.

Breakfast was excellent, room was very comfortable with lovely views and a very reasonably priced mini-barOnly complaint was how early the restaurant stopped serving food but we had a good meal next door at the sailing club bar.

The air conditioning worked, the rooms were large and the bathroom was nice. The breakfast looked very good.

We had dinner at the restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The waiter didn’t write down our order, so he got my husband’s entree and my dessert wrong. He didn’t put in our drink order and disappeared for a half hour. No offer to reduce the check. And then I had a terrible case of food poisoning from the seafood stew. It was a terrible dining experience and set us back 120€. Eat somewhere else.

It was a quiet location near the ferry.

It did not have a view of lake unless you leaned over the balcony and through the massive spider webs on the balcony.

The room was very clean, the staff was very polite but mostly I liked the view from my room.

The location is very nice in summer or with good weather. Service is friendly. Breakfast is nice, particularly the homemade "Müsli" Swiss style.

The hotel needs a renovation some time. I have stayed there in summer and it gets too hot. I last stayed in March and the little radiator was not able to heat up the room to a temperature ok for a day stay. I guess, I will go for a different hotel next time.

Very easy to reach, nice breakfast and good view to BODENSEE.

The location was perfect, directly at the ferry. The bus stop was just outside of the hotel, so getting around was very easy. We even got free bus tickets for the duration of our stay. The breakfast was good, but like every breakfast buffet, if you arrive late, you get the last pickings.We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but it was nice to know that it was an option.There is also an afternoon kiosk with food and very relaxed service.

The room was dusty and not very clean, Ledges around bed ,lights, and bedside tables. Someone elses hair on the bed and bathroom sink. Around our balcony was lots of cobwebs.

The location is great - on the lake and so close to bus transportation. The breakfast is delicious, too and the staff is very attentive.

Located at the sea and directly at the harbour and ferry. Bus tickets are included. To the bus stop for Konstanz is a 1 minute walk. You need 15 minutes to get into town. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Good breakfast.

The location is terrific, right on the lake, and our room had a wonderful lake view with two balconies, on the second floor. We visited the Rheinfalls, a must do item and we'll worth it. It's about 1hr drive, but the resulting boat trip is a hoot and definitely one to be done!

We weren't allowed a kettle in the room, so a cup of tea cost us €5 each time (each cup!). Only some of the electrical outlets in the room were connected to the power supply. The shower temperature was variable, changing from hot to cold and back again. Whilst there, 2 nights, I gained over 20 insect bites, I suspect some of these were mosquitoes, but I'm not sure about all of them. Not the hotel's fault, but be aware that it may be an issue. Parking is limited to around 6 vehicles, so be prepared to find parking nearby. There's not a lot to do in the evening within walking distance, so be prepared to eat at the hotel or at the neighboring pub.

This is a very traditional hotel. In fact, it claims it is one of the oldest guest houses in Germany, going back way into the Middle Ages. Our room had a very modern and efficient bathroom with sufficient towels. The beds were comfortable enough. We appreciated two chairs (rare!) and a table, so that we could play a round of cards in the evening. Staff was friendly, the breakfast excellent although a bit expensive if you book it separately (16 €). There is a nice outside terrace facing the lake although there is rather quiet street is in between.

The price is a bit on the high end, but hey, this is Lake Constance. The parking situation is THE weak spot: Only 7 or 8 spaces at 5€ per night. More expensive parking at the nearby public parking. The interior design is very, very retro.
