Romantik Hotel Barbarossa

Great location, right on the main street of the old town. Easy to find. Quiet and very clean. Front desk staff very friendly. Good free breakfast.

Great location that makes everything walkable. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was very helpful, especially with parking challenges.

It would be nice to have an electric kettle in the room for a warm drink in the evening.

Super nice staff and the location is quiet in the city center, everything is reachable within walking distance. The room is very nice and stylish and we had a very good sleep there

The property was in a great location, right in the center of town. The rooms were very cute and the perfect size for a couple night stay.

We were on the second floor and had no wifi. The hotel advertised “high speed internet” on their page and we couldn’t connect with our laptops for work from our room. We reserved the hotel parking and upon check in the staff gave us a public parking garage that was nearly double the cost. Only after asking about this did they check our reservation and give us the pre reserved parking. We had to pay for our time at the previous parking lot in addition to the hotel parking. If they have guests reserve ahead of time I would assume that the staff would check the reservation for said parking reservations.

reception staff was not very welcoming or helpful; we got allocated 2 extremely small rooms looking out into the back, could not get rooms close together,

Visitied Konstanz for the Christmas markets.Hotel was in a great location on a square at the top of the main shopping street, about 10 minutes walk from the train station.Room and bed were very comfortable.Staff very friendly and helpful, provided us with free tourist tickets as part of a local tourism scheme, which gave free transport and reduced museum tickets.

Breakfast was expensive so we didn't book, went to local bakeries/coffe shops instead.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, especially Michael and Gilberto! Pura Vida!

Parking is complicated

Location was excelllent. Staff were polite, extremely helpful and attentive.

Door to the bathroom did not allow proper privacy. A small fridge in the room would have been a bonus and extra pillows useful. Large square German pillows are not very comfortable if you did not grow up with them!

- Being an old building, the walls are very thin and we were woken both mornings by our neighbours alarm and his talking.

Location was central to everything. Breakfast was excellent, coffee was fantastic. Bed was super comfortable, the down comforter was amazing. I loved the towel warmer in my bathroom. The twin room was super cozy for one person. Small but all I really needed.

Missing the basic things like having hot water to drink. I had to go to the restaurant and ask to fill my bottle but the staff was all very nice to do this for me. Also expected the room to be a bit nicer given the price.

Staff were really friendly. Location is excellent for the cathedral and port. Lovely drinks terrace at the front of hotel.

The hotel was of historical significance and had some beautiful old rooms, but some of the renovations seemed unsympathetic to original building which was a shame. Car park is a short walk from hotel.

Very nice hotel situated in a historic building just in the old city area.

The room and bathroom was quite small, but this is normal considering that the hotel is situated in a very old building.
