Ashley Hotel

I have stayed in the Ashley Hotel now for some years. Have tried other hotels in the area, but have found the central location and on site secure parking to be advantagious.

Some of the neighbours are unsavoury.....however you dont have to mix with them

Right opposite the train station

The room provide better comfort than expeced after reading of references. I agree that the lighting may be better but it is good enough for normal activity. Room has average size and by my opinion it was nicely clean. This is given mainly by the fact that the room is designed to be easily cleaned.

The hotel surroundings is very attractive for youths making mess on the street. But it is not a guilty of this hotel.

REALLY helpful staff who ensured that we could get wherever we wanted. English spoken at the hotel. Room and all facilities were very clean. Easy walk to town and trams very close. Great value for money.

Room quite small, but big bed.Car park is tight with narrow access.... anyone with a large SUV may have to think again or park elsewhere.

Good location. Car parking at back of hotel. Lovely staff.

All needs a little bit of an update but does the job

Friendly sraff. Comfy bed. Location

Very friendly staff, good shower, opposite train station

Staff very friendly. Just opposite the station, ideal for stopovers

Only one dim light working in the room.

Great location near train and bus station. Good aloe and great breakfast.

Lot of stairs and corridors to rooms.

Great property excellent location clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great

Shame all you heard all night were doors slamming as that was the only way to close them. Unless you used the key.

price, secure car park, friendly staff

everything was fine

location and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Hot water was non existent. For the price paid it wasn’t good value for money.

clean and friendly staff

the placement area

The style of the room was unusual but very nice. Staff were very friendly.

The local area is a bit run down.

Bad

Booking. Com lied on the website, it clearly stated "Breakfast included" and still does.It didn't say, tick to get parking or anything else yet it cost €22 for two rough breakfasts with fermenting orange juice!

Hotel located near to city centre within easy walking distance. Car parking at rear of hotel, but entrance round the corner and a little tricky to find - checkout on Google Maps first. Good continental breakfast and helpful front desk staff.

Budget hotel, so no air conditioning.

Excellent shower, quiet room, comfortable bed, croissants we're buttery.

No air conditioning, although a fan was provided.Dark interior.

The Staff were friendly

It was very dark. scary almost. I was woken by the house cleaners at 9am after having a terrible nights sleep. I didn’t feel safe with my kids. dark corridors and weird noises from next door. not so easy to find and park but staff helped me.

Great locationSecure parking Big bedGood for one night stopover

Unfortunately it was the hottest day of the year and there is no AC in the rooms or fans.Glad I brought my own pillow as the pillows weren’t what I would describe as great

Colours and design of the room very homely

We would often leave the sign for the maid to clean but we would always return to the hotel without it been cleaned thus the room got very piled up with rubish she continued to not clean our room for 5 days it was a hastle. And they cancelled our keycard on a sunday a day before my leave, cause of this i had to leave my luggage behind and return to england without it, lucky my fiance lives in france and he picked it up.
