Mercure Le Mans Batignolles

We stayed one night as a family on our way to La Rochelle. We had two rooms for 5 of us, both of which were clean and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool (although it is on the small side).The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.It’s not the prettiest location but it is very easy to get to and it was handy having a supermarket within walking distance.

The room was nice and big the bed very comfortable and they welcomed our dogs great for an overnight stay driving from Portugal to get the tunnel back to the uk

Breakfast was fine. The pool was nice.

The furniture in the room was totally inadequate and cheap, particularly considering the cost. The safe was tiny and could not take our documents. The plastic side tables should have been bedside proper cabinets. There was not a comfortable relaxing chair for even one person, let alone two. Totally inadequate wardrobe space and only one shelf. The room was not at all suitable for tourists with luggage for more than one night's stay. There was no coffee machine, only a kettle and instant coffee, but no milk. We had a superior room but had to climb over a bath to enter the shower.

Located close to Le Mans centre and 10 minutes away from the circuit of the 24h race. Set on its own well kept grounds it is relatively quiet even though it is close to a busy road. Ample parking Rooms are quiet and the bed was very comfortable.Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The location was billed as city centre but was on the ring road with no way to get to the centre but car. There were not enough towels by the swimming pool, we took the last two and had to share between four of us. A woman then arrived in a bikini and retreated because there were none left. The breakfast was basic and no way worth 19 euros. The rooms were fine and clean. View was of an industrial yard. Overall would say is overpriced for an out of town hotel with no public transport and minimal facilities.

More feedback than anything, but in one of our rooms the shower gel was empty.

Great location to break up our return journey.The hotel is well equipped, pool fairly small but fine for the children to splash about in.We only ate in the restaurant Saturday night as it was closed on Sundays.Breakfast was simple- scrambled eggs, French sausages and bacon and hash browns were on the hot buffet. Then the usual bread, meat, cheese and fruit etc.Beds were very comfortable and air conditioned rooms were very appreciated! Our dog was welcome in all of the hotel, which made our stay more pleasurable.

Room was good. Ac keeps the room cool. Bed was comfortable. Very good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast is also excellent. Dining at hotel is possible and food is great.

I would prefer having a walk in shower rather than a bath although showering in bath is possible. This would make getting in and out easier. Like most hotels shower misses a shelf where shampoo can be placed.
