Hotel Ibn Khaldoun

The location is so good, near by most of the good places, 10 mins to airport

Breakfast had very limited options, towels were not clean and were very old and smelled bad, we stayed for 1 night so it was ok

The rooms were very big and spacious we loved chilling in. The breakfast was decent but it could have more options.

Sometimes the ac and the fridge weren’ functioning but apart from that loved the rooms.

The cleaning service was good

The breakfast was not what I expected, there is no fruit or natural juice only the fake juices

We stayed for two days, in the first day the room smelled quite damp and so did the towels. We informed them that we needed new blanket since the one there had stains yet no one responded. The room also didn’t have a telephone, proper air conditioning or a minibar. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing as well.

The location was the only good thing about our stay in this hotel.

The rooms have been really bad. The whole 5th floor was smelling bad, the room too. It was dirty, the carpet was filthy, the bed linen really bad with spots all over and not to mention the mattresses. Full of spots and marks of body liquids. The bathroom full of (pubic) hair all over (toilet, bathtub, sink,) Really disgusting and I think dangerous for your health!

The hotel was conveniently located for the last night of our trip, offering easy access to both the Medina and the airport, making our departure stress-free. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable setup that allowed us to relax before our journey home. Breakfast had a decent selection of options—nothing extraordinary, but considering that we were there during Ramadan, the effort put into providing a varied and satisfying meal was truly commendable. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay with a good balance of comfort and convenience.

Our initial face-to-face interaction with the concierge was a bit rough due to a misunderstanding, and unfortunately, their attitude came across as quite unfriendly. However, with some effort on our part, we were able to smooth things over, and the situation improved. Another disappointment was that no free parking spots were available upon our arrival, even though parking had been promised during booking. This was inconvenient, as we had specifically chosen the hotel with parking in mind. Additionally, the TV offered only 10 channels, all exclusively in Arabic, which limited entertainment options for non-Arabic speakers.

I recently stayed here, and I had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, making it super convenient for exploring the area. No frige in the room in the summer ,no phone in the room for contacting reciption, the breakfast no healthy food no water no microwave wifi not really good, cleaners make noise, I think the hotel for business travellers not for pleasure
