    • The landlord is one of the kindest people I've ever met. He will feed you with mangos, smoothies, and he will provide you any service you need.
    • Mr. Heng is very kind and welcoming and our two day stay was perfect! He arranged for our guide and tuk tuk for two days, as well as transportation from the airport, and even took our bags to the bus stop himself! He always has a smile and made us fresh amazing beverages every day, and went above and beyond several times for us. The place itself is really convenient and central but also clean and calm, not in the noisy area but at the back of a Buddhist monastery! We were really happy we chose to stay here.
    • The staff was so wonderful and went above and beyond in every way from recommendations of restaurants and very local markets to taking us on his scooter to a wonderful bakery. Also wonderful smoothies and juices when we came back after a long day. Also a great location!

    Cons -

    • The only disadvantage, however minor, is lighting in the bathroom: looks nice, but try to shave yourself ?

Mr. Heng, the host, is incredibly helpful and generous. He goes above and beyond for his guests. The guesthouse also has a really nice atmosphere. It is the perfect base in Siem Reap.

Great location, very friendly owner! Awesome authentic experience just off the beaten path but still very close to the town.

If you’re lucky enough to have available room book now! This hotel is probably the best value for money I’ve ever experienced. The room was clean and super comfortable. The location was great . There’s a really nice pool to chill in. But beyond everything else, Mr Heng, the host, is just the kindest person we have ever met. And he makes the best mango smoothies too. Do yourself a favor and book your stay!

Quiet room, everything clean, Mr. Heng is very friendly and helpful. We feel like he take care of us like family members.

The pool was amazing after being out in the heat all day and the hotel is so clean and pretty! It’s located on a very quiet side street beside a beautiful temple. It’s so serene and relaxing. The host is so kind and welcoming too. He was always there to help out and he really made our stay enjoyable! Sending love from Canada ❤️

This place is amazing. We were so glad we stayed here! The host is the nicest man we’ve met in our travels. He is so kind and has excellent recommendations! The place is so much whiter than the main strip, but is still quite close to downtown. Would definitely come back and can’t recommend enough!

If you're planning a visit to Siem Reap, stay at Mango Kesararam. Tucked inside the peaceful grounds of Wat Kesararam—a living pagoda and monastery, this place is more than just a hotel. It’s a sanctuary. From the moment you walk through the temple gates, you’ll feel something shift. The city noise softens, the air seems calmer, and you’ll be welcomed not with formality, but with heartfelt warmth... and a glass of the most delicious fresh mango juice you’ve ever tasted. And then there's Mr. Heng—the soul of Mango Kesararam. He doesn’t just run the place; he takes care of you like an old friend. Whether you need a tuk-tuk, advice on what temples to visit, where to eat, how to get your laundry done, or simply a quiet place to rest after a long day—he’s there. Always kind, always generous, and never in a way that feels transactional. Just genuinely caring. After a hot day exploring, you’ll come back to the smile, an offer of tea or coffee, or another of those mango smoothies—and it’ll feel like coming home. You’ll fall in love with the place itself, too. It’s small, peaceful, and beautifully maintained—an actual oasis tucked into the spiritual heart of the city. You’re just a short walk from amazing local eats like Madam Moch Khmer Restaurant and Le Pain du Coeur, where the pastries alone are worth waking up early for. Your room? It’ll be spotless and thoughtfully decorated in traditional Khmer style. The aircon is whisper-quiet (a blessing), and the little pool will become your happy place—the perfect way to unwind after a day wandering temple ruins and jungle paths.Mango Kesararam ended up being one of the most memorable stays of my entire trip. By the time I left, I wasn’t just checking out of a hotel—I was saying goodbye to someone I’d come to admire, in a place that felt deeply personal. So if you’re coming to Siem Reap, stay here. The temples will leave you awestruck—but it’s this little sanctuary that will truly stay with you.

    Absolutely nothing. I loved everything.

Amazing stay at Mango Kesararam. The man at reception was super nice and welcoming. He gave us many travel tips and even made us a fruit smoothie after a long hot day at Angkor Wat. The pool is very relaxing and the room is clean and pretty. Location is perfect if you’re planning on visiting Angkor Wat. There are also many great food spots in the area.

There’s no breakfast (but as mentioned, there are restaurants in the area)

The location behind a beautiful temple is lovely, and convenient to great eateries such as Bayon Coffee Shop (which we went to three times in three days). The property is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The aircon is quiet, and the pool is perfect. The best part was the lovely host who looked after us warmly with drinks, advice, booking transfers, and chat. He is a really good man. This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at.

The rooms was very clean and modern. Host/owner is super nice. He arranged rides and shows for me, which was very helpful. He even prepared a fruit platter for me for free.

The hotel is about 2 km away from city center, so needs to take tuktuk to get to places with good food and shops.

The best thing here is Heng, the host and Sophia, his sister with rooms next door. They may be the best hosts we've ever had in all our travels over 30 years! Basically, by the time we left, we felt we were leaving good friends who we've known for years! Heng gave us such brilliant advice on what to see and arranged everything without adding a fee for himself (minibus to Battambang, to Kampung Thom and taxi to the airport)Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean. The pool is small but really brilliant for a perfect cool-off after a hot, sweaty, very satisfying day exploring the Angkor Wat temples. Heng will offer you a mango juice or tea afterwards. The location is brilliant, accessed through a temple, close to the best street in town for food, Taphul Rd.. The food was consistently excellent in all the restaurants we tried ((Try Me, My Little Cafe, Pumpkin, Bayon Cafe, Le Pain du Coeur (brilliant breakfast here)). Go to Pub Street for beer, pool, loud music, have your food on Taphul Rd first!Siem Reap generally is excellent, much better than we expected. The areas along the river and the Royal Gardens are great for a wander. We explored Angkor by ourselves on bicycles - great decision!. There's a really nice cycle path from Siem Reap to Angkor, 6km away. The bikes were perfect for going between the temples too - we saw so much more and the traffic is very light a lot of the time. We rented bikes from a few different places but by far the best was Angkor Cycling, almost next door to Le Petit du Coeur - brilliant, properly maintained, safe bikes. Other places are a little cheaper for dangerous, frustrating, badly-maintained wrecks!

Location was great. Host just absolutely lovely. The bed super comfortable!

This place is faultless. Beautiful rooms, tempting pool, clean, good location. The owner couldn't be more helpful. He organised temple tuk tuk, breakfast and lunch restaurant recommendations. The place felt really boutique even though it wasn't too pricey. Lovely free welcome mango smoothie after a torturous bus trip. Would recommend this as a must place to stay. Amazing showers too. The best of our holiday!

The best stay we have had in Cambodia. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. The room was spacious, clean and super comfortable, with an awesome pool to cool off after a day of exploring. But the highlight is the incredible service. Our host was exceptional, offering amazing advice and was incredibly helpful when it came to transport, restaurant recommendations and how we should structure our day to make the most of our time. Thankyou for your hospitality and firnedliness, we can't wait to come back and stay again!

Awesome staff – super friendly and easy to communicate with. I arrived very early, and they went above and beyond to prepare my room for an early check-in, always making sure everything was okay. The room was cleaned daily and fully restocked each time. Located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, just 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap.

Nothing to complain about. It met all expectations from previous travelers.

Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, the location was great, just beside a temple, and the owner was so attentive to us. We had wonderful days at Mango Kesararam !
