The Bliss Angkor

We could not have asked for a better stay at The Bliss Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap! Everything was simply wonderful, and the staff could not have been more welcoming, warm, and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, were comfortable, and felt truly at home, while remaining incredibly professional. We stayed in the villa, which was lovely, very comfortable, and far more spacious than we had expected. The experience felt comparable to a 4-5 star hotel, yet at an exceptionally attractive rate, certainly not what one would expect to pay for such a high level of service. The hotel’s location was also ideal, just a short distance from the city centre and its excellent restaurants, yet situated in a quieter neighbourhood that we enjoyed very much. Our stay at The Bliss Angkor Hotel made our visit to Siem Reap even more special. We sincerely hope to return in the future, and we thank everyone at The Bliss Angkor Hotel from the bottom of our hearts for such a memorable stay.

Small boutique hotel. Great location— just outside the hubbub. The staff were very diligent in ensuring you had a good stay. We would come back hot and sweaty and be greeted by cold towels and ice cold tea. If you sat poolside they would bring peanuts and cold water. Food is well made and exceptionally reasonable. Rooms were very clean and good water pressure. Pillows were nice and fluffy! It was our best hotel in this vacation thus far.

Wow! What a wonderful place. Located in a quiet neighborhood away from the city center but still close enough to walk. The staff were fantastic always greeting us and offering cold towels and tea. Very attentive and helpful. The coffee was out of the world. The coffee art was at the next level. One of the baristas created a Kangaroo and a rabbit.

Minor inconvenience with the first room we stayed. But they promptly gave us another room.

Architecture and Designs, Ambiance

The gecko, too much unnecessary cob webs and a feeling of too much isolation that made it felt not connected to civility I guess. The showers was a exhilarating experience but felt like it needed a deep clean and sterilization due to the gritty and feeling of vacancy. Dust was on top panel of ledge, curtains were partially part of that same issues. The patio door was actually wilted ajar off the frame and made it felt like bugs and others can actually seep into your night. And if your fearful of geckos, then from night to night. It is all you see at night.

Everything at this hotel is outstanding, but especially fantastic is the staff. They are so gracious, helpful and friendly! From cold cloths upon arrival to cold water provided at the pool, the staff is always one step ahead in looking after the guests. The food at the restaurant is delicious (loved the servers!), the pool is crystal clear clean and the rooms are spotless. They also have a very reasonably priced spa. Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. Recommend it very highly!

The hotel name really says it all - we found our stay of four nights to be bliss! The attention to detail, cleanliness, and professional staff were highlights. It was like an oasis, returning after temple exploration to cold refreshing towels and tea. The food was tasty (we enjoyed breakfasts, snacks and dinners) and we got local recommendations and suggestions to make the most of our stay. Most of all we appreciated the lovely people running the hotel, it was a pleasure to stay with you all. My husband has stayed in 5 star hotels around the world for work and he said the service here was as good if not better. Highly recommend this hotel for a modern and peaceful stay in Siem Reap.

Loved every single thing. It was WAY beyond expectations for ANY hotel. Especially the spotless pool, lit at night, for swimming laps. Wonderful staff rented me an electric scooter. Every time I returned, a chilled cloth and ice tea was waiting. Beautiful room with fridge, lush bed.

Everything. Price point, food, pool, service, spa!

Fantastic staff. Great food. Lovely pool. Very crisp and clean air conditioned rooms. Great quiet location still a medium walk or short grab ride away from all the sites.

The kind and attentive staff really puts Bliss over the top. The breakfast is also amazing and delicious. The coffee is especially delicious (and a rabbit image made in the foam!). The pool is lovely and long enough for leisurely laps. My teenage daughters are still raving about this hotel as their favorite of all time.

The furniture is all beautiful sturdy wood that is unforgivingly cut at right angles, so a bit uncomfortable for sitting for longer reads or periods of time.

Breakfast was beautiful also the coffee was exceptional. Everything about our stay was perfect, except the heat in the dining room. Cooler outside! Rooms were spacious, beds comfy, pool great.

Air conditioning where you eat. Way too hot to enjoy a meal.

Fantastic place and wonderful staff. Phillip, Sotil and the lady at the reception were fabulous and so customer centric, pleasant and hospitable. Would recommend Bliss Angkor for sure!

The staff at this hotel was very kind and friendly. They helped us with planning our stay, booked the circus show, the local guide and the driver. We were welcomed by cold beverages and cold towels every time we entered the hotel or the pool, it was amazing! The hotel and the our villa were decorated with lotus flowers.The hotel is pretty quiet.Nice little pool that made our daughter happy.

We had problems with the toilet not flushing properly. The bed was placed in somewhat inconvenient way, there wasn’t enough space for access from one side.

We have had the most pleasant experience in this hotel, the room was amazing, the food unbelievably good and the staff are the friendliest people we’ve ever met! They have organised our tuk tuk for Angkor Wat also with the best tuk tuk driver- such a pleasant guy, speaks good English and super duper friendly(his name was Cheang)! They also organised the airport transfers for us. Everything went so smoothly and we left with the best memories. If I return I would literally do everything the same! Thank you so much for these 3 amazing days which will stay in my heart for a lifetime!

The comfort, the incredible and amazingly helpful staff, the location, the pool, the coffee, the feeling of being somewhere really special: an oasis away from the madness of town but still just a walk away

Little jewellery in Siem Reap . Very helpful stuff . Tuk tuk driver Bunlong made good temple tours with us . Highly recommended

very friendly and professional staff. We had a food poisoning (from eating outside) and the staff helped us cook rice porridge and gave us some salted fish, which was the best thing to eat in the situation. Very grateful. The driver was very nice and helpful too.

I was about to mention to them but forgot when we left: the stools in the kitchen of the villa had nail tips sticking out. They would catch your pants if made of fine fabric.

Thea and his dedicated team have mafe sure their pristine, boutique hotel lives up to its name.Perfectly located near enough and far enough from the main town.Good size, well-appointed rooms with a wet room shower, and a massive, stone bath tub.Amazing massages.Super comfy beds, soft linen, and towelsMost of all, it's the understated hospitality and attention to detail that sets the Bliss apart from other hotels; the warm smiles, the complementary cold towels and water, and the constant cleaning to keep the place spotless. Nothing was ever too much trouble.From our warm welcome upon arrival to the hugs and photos upon departure, we were made to feel like family for the 4 days we stayed there.Our stay included my husband's birthday, and the team decorated our room beautifully and then appeared at our door, singing happy birthday and bearing a cake made of fruit and a gift of a souvenir Cambodian scarf. A big thank you to Thea and his team, especially Sochea, Sochan, and John, for making our stay so memorable. We really appreciated it and hope to see you all again!
