Pros +
- Friendly staff. A huge bath tub. Concierge service. Cleanness.
- The staff, the large comfortable room and bed. The property was perfect nice, clean smaller hotel close to anything you need. The dog Saiko and the owner Greg he was wonderful. Close to pub street, I found a short cut go right on streets a few blocks down road from hotel there is a restaurant called 333 they have great food but you walk down those streets and you will find great local restaurants and short cut to pub street.
- We loved the location, the breakfast, and how amazing Greg was in ensuring every part of our stay was comfortable. The staff are lovely and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the wifi was strong enough for zoom calls for those who might be working.
Cons -
- Poorly prepared room (empty shampoo). Malfunctioned items (lamp, safe closet, hot-water supply). Very few power plugs. Low-quality toiletry supplies. Unprofessional room cleaning service (tea cup not cleaned, torn slippers not replaced). Slippery floor.
- There wasn't anything I didn't like it was one of my favorite places that I've stayed while traveling Asia.
- Just an fyi, there is no elevator in the hotel for those who may have accessibility issues. Greg kindly moved us to a room on a lower floor to accommodate us.

This boutique hotel was the perfect place for our family getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. The rooms are spacious, bright, and immaculately clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Every detail reflects genuine care and attention. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The new owner stands out for his genuine hospitality. He truly cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone’s experience is positive and memorable. If you’re looking for a charming and well-run place with a personal touch, we highly recommend this boutique hotel!
A truly beautiful hotel in a great location in Siem Reap. The staff are extremely kind and attentive, making you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. On the morning we left early to visit Angkor at sunrise, they prepared a wonderful breakfast box for us, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended for comfort, hospitality, and excellent service.
The owner was absolutely accommodating, involved in the daily running of the hotel, and very warm and freindly to our family during the stay, Saiko was a hit with the kids (the hotel star and mascot)A cooked breakfast came with every nights accommodtion, the fresh fruit platter was a great hit with allThe pool was exposed daily to the days sun light, the dark tiles, heated the water up to make it very accommodating to emmerse yourself in :-) (massive hit with the kids) A walk to the local cuisine was anywhere from a 200m walk to funky street, to a 1km walk to the infamous Pub Street, for those who are tired after a long day, a USD$2 tuktuk ride is definitely pocket friendly
Couldnt fault it, I would hesitate to recommend this spot to anyone again and again, you just cant fault Maison Saiko
Everything, the attention was awesome and Gregory and Saiko are the best, would 100% recommend to everyone to stay there. Perfect location and awesome value for money and cleanliness.
Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The owner was incredibly attentive and the staff were amazing. We honestly felt like we were the only guests there because of how personal and thoughtful the service was. When we had an issue with our e-bikes, the team jumped in right away to help and even coordinated with the rental company to sort things out. Their kindness and efficiency made a huge difference to resolving the the issue and moving on with our day. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the housekeeping was excellent. Fresh linens every day made it feel extra comfortable. The pool was refreshing and perfect for cooling off after exploring Siem Reap. The location is ideal. Central to all the best spots like Pub Street, the markets, and great restaurants, yet tucked away on a quiet street that feels peaceful and private. And of course, Saiko, the friendly on-site dog, made us feel right at home. The value for what you get here is incredible. Between the service, comfort, and location, it easily exceeded our expectations. We can’t recommend Maison Saiko enough!
All around enjoyable experience. Large comfortable room. Great pool - not large but perfect for cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nice meals available onsite if you don't want to venture out to eat. Quiet area but only a short distance to lots of shops, restaurants, Pub Street, etc.
Nothing comes to mind.
Beautiful little hotel with a nice clean pool and clean comfortable rooms.
Shower setup wasn’t ideal and resulted in lots of water on the floor.
Very clean and very kind staff. Good breakfast
We loved the boutique feel, the koi carp pool, and the wonderful swimming pool, which was a real highlight for us. We wanted to reserve special praise for David and his family, they were so helpful and kind, it really made our trip to Siem Reap special.
We liked everything about the property!
A truly wonderful stay. The hotel is beautifully designed and very well located. David and his team are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Nothing :)
Clean and spacious room, huge bathroom and very good water pressure. Pool was nice and clean. Staff was very helpful. We booked our driver for Angkor Wat and everything worked great. They also helped us with the motorbike rental. The guesthouse is in a quiet side road about 15min walk to pub street or you can take a Tuk Tuk for $1.
Would love them to have a water dispenser to refill bottles and reduce plastic waste.
Extremely well maintained, clean, accessible with many shops and amenities a short stone throw away. Quiet and pleasant.
The lightings in the room around the wardrobe area can be improved.
Really nice people and service.Friendly, respectful, always with a smile and willing to help. The staff and manager (David) were really nice to us and made our stay a great experience. I recommend it 100%.
The host David was fantastic, really informative on restaurants, things to do, local knowledge. The food was good, we ate there on on occassion, The pool was small but just the trick at the end of a busy day, the room was spacious, clean, tidy, housekeeping was Excellent, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, location is great, not far from pub street and loads of restaurants within 5 mins walk, easy to get tuk tuks from the hotel.
It was really great so it’s difficult to say anything here!
This hotel lives up to the hype: large comfortable bed and room, with kettle, daily coffee/tea/water & fridge, great air conditioning, hot shower with good pressure, amazing staff, refreshing pool. They go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. David and his wife are amazing hosts and have a wonderful team that does everything well and with a smile. They even arranged same day laundry. Of note, there is no elevator so you do need to take the stairs to get to your room, but the staff takes your luggage up for you. Great location that is walkable or close with a Grab, but quiet at night.
Spotty internet on the upper floor, super fast downstairs.
A very calm hotel in the middle of Siem Reap. David, our host was extremely helpful in organising excursions. Our room was very comfortable and serviced each day. Location was great and cheap tuk tujs made everywhere accessible
Great place to relax after exploring the area. The rooms are quite big, very clean and really comfortable. The personnel are always ready to help and very kind. I really recommend this place.
Everything was perfect
