Regency Angkor Hotel

Everything about this hotel including room and staff services were excellent. The food served in the restaurant was of good quality. The AC van arranged by the hotel for sightseeing of Angkor Wat complex was very convenient and comfortable.

Service was excellent from the time we arrived to our departure. The breakfast was excellent.

The room was a bit dated and not as clean as would have expected. There was mold around the bathtub and some on the shower enclosure.

Let's first remember that this hotel is in a low socioeconomic region of a country that came out of a civil war within a few decades!Once that mindset is reached, just the existence of this hotel is amazing if not magical!helpful staff and fancyish room

The transportation from the airport was not set up, but we didn't mind the $10 private taxi ride to the hotel. They made up for it by driving us to the airport on our return.

This is a very nice hotel. It is located just a couple of miles from Angkor Wat. The room was excellent, the dinner and breakfast were very tasty, the staff was attentive. It deserves its 4 star rating.

The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was spacious and cleaned everyday. The breakfast was good. Gym/pool/sauna/jacuzzi were all very nice. Overall, we'we'd stay here again if we came back.

The flies in the restaurant were annoying but it was like that throughout combodia so can't blame the hotel. Smoking on the pool bar wasn't cool at all, as there were little kids and the possibility of the ciggerette ends and ashes falling in the pool.

Property is near to city center and Angkor wat temple. Huge large room and clean,free refill water and coffee. Breakfast is only limited ,its easy to get grab/taxi . 24hrs receptionists and friendly staff they also helpful. The bed is comfy and air conditioning is great

We liked everything: the nice, polite and helpful Staff, perfect location, delicious breakfast , reasonable price , and the hotel overall. We also enjoyed our lovely dinner at their restaurant.Nice to stay in a hotel that has maintained it’s old world charm ! Our room was huge with a balcony facing the street, and the gardens of another hotel. Great view!

Breakfast was fine, some actual cereal would help in addition to rice puffs and cornflakes. The Asian part was well taken care of with freshly made hot soup. A little bacon and some proper marmalades would have been nice additions.

The hotel lists a steam bath and sauna among the facilities. As per the staff, these have been out of use since COVID. We actually booked the hotel because of these facilities but were not offered any kind of compensation - we did point it out at check in itself and also wrote a message to the hotel to this effect. This was highly disappointing.

Same breakfast every day on top says veggies rice has meat in there ruin my day vacation specially when we can not go temple after eat meat rice . After tell staff three time then they move the sign but not replace with veggie rice .

The lobby to the hotel was certainly “regent” with its round carpet and chandeliers and this elegance was also mirrored in the bedrooms. The staff were all very gracious and as we had stayed here before, they all greeted us back with their charming smiles! Breakfast which was both a western and Asian buffet was scrumptious. We also had a few leisure moments which we spent at the outdoor pool!

Nothing negative about this hotel

Stayed here twice. First time breakfast was totally manic and crowded. Second time was perfect.

Needs a bit of care and attention to bring facilities back up to standard. Clearly has been a classy hotel at one point but a bit tired looking now.

Great location. Very clean hotel with good facilities. Breakfast was buffet style and catered for a range of tastes. Restaurant at the hotel was very convenient and food was good if not exciting. We had a pleasant stay/

The only criticism I have is that the pool hours were not enforced and so a very large and noisy family spent the very early hours of the day shrieking and screaming in the pool. We overlooked the pool and so it was very noisy. Given we had arrived late the night before after a very long flight we were woken at about 5:30 a.m by this noise.

Advertised sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym all were not functioning or and not available.

It was close to the Angkor Wat, but far away from the city.

The restaurants were not open, or partly opened only after we requested.The pool bar wasn't open.The breakfast was not acceptable for us only for chineses people, the coffee was very ugly, they were abkle to make a good coffe, but only after complaining, We had only two fruits and two marmelades, One sort onf cheese was offered on request, only pailn rive, vegtabes, fired rice and fied noodels were offered. They had offers for eggs. The 5-star hotel wasn't the status of 5 stars.The room was big size, it smells unfresh and we had Cockroaches in the bathroom.

Appearances were exceptional Descent size pool In general the ambience of the old hotel itself.

Breakfast was most definitely Not for most westerners . The Asian guests seemed delighted. Soon after making a simple remark in jesture to the lady making omelettes two rather burley men made their presents by standing within 10 meters constantly observing me That was unsettling indeed

The Hotel was located at an excellent location. There are many shops and banks nearby. The tourist attractions are also not too far. It took 16 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and well-lighted. There is a big window in the room. The pool was also a good attraction in the hotel. The breakfast has variety, but there is no separate section of Halal food.

We have booked two rooms. The TV in one room was not working. I have made a complaint, they sent one worker and he told us that it would be replaced in the evening, but it was never replaced. In other room, we may not be able to increase the temperature of the room.

The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The hotel was also beautiful. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a serious plus--it was good quality!

The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, with one glaring exception: they promised to book us a night bus to Phnom Penh several days before our departure. When we had one day left, they told us they hadn't been able to do it and didn't refund us.
