    • We had a 5 night stay, added one more night after booking 4 days first. So the previous review stands for this stay as well. There are detailed reports and tips on our non commercial site which may be of help:https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-14-angkor-wat.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-15-angkor-thom.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-16-phnom.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-17-banteay.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-17-part-2.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-18-giant-ibis.html
    • We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was spacious and comfortable. And the breakfast at their sister hotel was pretty good . It is at a distance of 500 metres though. For two days we asked our tuktuk to take us there for breakfast before taking us to Ankur Wat. For the next two days we ordered a grab taxi both ways. It is better than walking 500m in the humidity And it is better to avoid the street dogs also . There are very good tips and a detailed guide in our report on our non commercial website for visit to Angkor wat and a day trip to the Kulen mountains. The links are here which may be of help:https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-14-angkor-wat.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-15-angkor-thom.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-16-phnom.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-17-banteay.html https://adventuretrav.blogspot.com/2025/07/cambodia-trip-report-day-17-part-2.html
    • Breakfast is at the sister Vasinh Hotel, approximately 400 metres away (turn left out of the Green Residence, walk to end of short road, turn right, take second road on left, and Vasinh is about 175m on your right). They serve a superb breakfast in here, really sets you up for the day, and all the staff are attentive, friendly and professional. There is an option to have breakfast delivered to your room at the Green Residence, but the short walk really sets you up.The staff in the Green Residence are superb. Really friendly and helpful, and there is a member of staff on site at night. Whilst the pool is a little small, it is just perfect for a dip to help cool you down from the Cambodian sunshine! It’s about a 45 minute walk from the Green Residence to the busy Pub Street area of Siem Reap. Alternatively you can just get a tuk-tuk for about $2-$3.Angkor Wat is a must see whilst you are here, but the tickets are quite pricey (currently $37 each for a single day entry to the archaeological park). However, if you wait until 1730 hrs entry is free to the archaeological park, but with no entrance to the Angkor Wat. But you can still grab those Instagram photos from the outside! You can enter some of the other buildings, but there is a very limited amount of time in the grounds up until sunset. If getting to see inside is an absolute must, then just be aware of the price. They say you can’t see the whole site in a day, so they sell 2 and 3 day passes. Now you are having to spend loads of cash!!

    Cons -

    • Breakfast time should start early
    • For the first day of our stay we wanted to catch the sunrise at Angkor wat and wanted to leave at 5 am. The breakfast they provided in the night was very inadequate in quantity We are vegetarians and there were only three small thin slices of bread and a blob of butter and jam, a small banana and a small orange. The breakfast starts only at 7. In fact the breakfast timing should be a little earlier for people who want to be at Angkor wat by 7:30 when it opens. It is a 20 minute ride by Tuk Tuk From this hotel to the temple.
    • When we arrived, the apartment was infested with hundred of mosquitoes... Probably the previous customers did not use the mosquito nets. After fighting mosquitoes during 24h, we could enjoy the end of our stay peacefully.

Really nice staff! The accomodation is really great and big. It's even possible to cook. The laundry machine in the apartment is another davantage. The pool is nice. And cherry on the cake, a 5min walk to another hotel is needed for breakfast but it really worth it: the food is delicious and complementary. The location is not in the city center but tuk tuk is cheap so not an issue at all.

When we arrived, the apartment was infested with hundred of mosquitoes... Probably the previous customers did not use the mosquito nets. After fighting mosquitoes during 24h, we could enjoy the end of our stay peacefully.

The apartments were large in size

You have to go to another hotel for breakfast. There is nothing nearby. You can't walk to the center. Roosters are crowing all night, which do not let you sleep. Tea accessories are provided, but there is no black tea. I asked them to bring it, but they told me they didn't have it. A hair dryer, like all kitchen utensils, must be requested. Not a single outlet was working in the bedroom. The description says: sofa bed. That's not so. We had a sofa that couldn't fold out, but we needed it.

Nice and clean accommodation with clean pool, what was very pleasant after the whole day walking.I would fully recommend it to others.

Breakfast was in different hotel, some 500 metres far, what is not an issue, just to let you know.. and there is also a possibility the breakfast to be delivered to this hotel..

The apartment was amazing. All you need to have a lovely stay and a pool to cool down in. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I could not fault this place one bit. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Siem Reap then this is it. Value for money is an understatement. To sum it up in one word... AMAZING!!

There was nothing to dislike. This place is simply outstanding

    10RadoslawPosted on: 2-26-2025

There was a choice of simple breakfast at the hotel or a more varied option at a nearby sister hotel. All good.

Needed tuktuk to get to the center, but the good price balanced it out

Mr. Pisith, the manager is an excellent person who was very welcoming, helpful and attended to all our needs throughout the stay. Being a new property, they are still working on some details like serving breakfast which was sent to the room during our stay. Overall, the property is an excellent choice with clean, spacious rooms and good facilities.

    Everything was perfect

The apartment was comfortable and it was a real treat to have a washing machine. The staff were lovely and helpful (not all had good English). The pool was nice enough.

Our room was only serviced on our last day (you had to request it but we still got missed). It’s a long way from everywhere. Breakfast is included but it’s served at their sister hotel 500m away. The floors needed a good clean. It was quite noisy with mopeds going up and down and also dogs howling throughout the night.

Finding a two-bedroom villa in Siem Reap can be challenging, but this was the best option we found, and it did not disappoint. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private pool was a highlight—our kids absolutely loved it! The breakfast was another standout feature, offering a delicious variety of Cambodian and Western dishes, along with desserts, juices, and coffee. The extensive menu was impressive and satisfying. The villa was well-equipped with all the essentials, including a dining table and a washing machine, which was a lifesaver after a week of traveling. Even though we didn’t use the kitchen, it was nice to have the option. The two bathrooms were also very convenient, allowing us to have our own master suite while the kids used their own space. While the location is peaceful and quiet, it is a bit far from town, and there’s nothing nearby. However, this was a minor inconvenience given the quality of the villa and amenities provided.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would highly recommend it for families looking for a comfortable and well-equipped villa in Siem Reap.

While the villa itself was comfortable, we encountered several issues that impacted our stay. The location is very remote, with no nearby restaurants or shops, and breakfast, although tasty, was served at a different hotel about an 8-minute walk away. The rural area also had stray dogs and trash on the streets, which was unpleasant.Additionally, we faced significant challenges when trying to get to the hotel. When we arrived in Siem Reap from Phnom Penh, the hotel was not listed on GRAB, so our taxi driver ended up taking us to the wrong address, even though we had copied the address from Booking.com. This caused a lot of frustration, as the address provided was not even close to the correct location. Eventually, the hotel communicated with the driver and directed us to the correct place, but the whole experience was disappointing.Another concern was the lack of privacy and security in the villa. The villa, located next to the reception, didn’t have blackout curtains in the main living areas, making it easy for people to look inside. Overall, while the villa was comfortable, these inconveniences and security issues made our stay less enjoyable than expected.

The warm hospitality of all the staff is outstanding. Mr. Pisith, the Operations Manager, and his team went above and beyond their professional duties to address any questions or issues, ensuring that my stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. Kudos to everyone.

There are not many dining options in the surrounding area.

Good service, spacious villa with features hot and cool rain showers, separate toilets. Fully equipped kitchen with utensils, a cozy living room with a sofa set, a refrigerator, a laundry machine, and a dining area complete with a table and chairs where you can cook and enjoy same as your own home. Staff with a good smile and welcome. I would definitely come back to stay here again next time.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this cozy and affordable private villa, which features an exquisite outdoor pool and spacious parking conveniently located right in front of the villas. We loved the beautiful villa design, along with its well-equipped kitchen, complete with utensils, a washing machine, refrigerator, dining table and chairs, a comfortable living room with a sofa set, flat-screen TV, and a private balcony. We highly recommend this villa for both short and long stays, as it offers affordable rates and provides the option for lunch, dinner, or a BBQ on request, with both Khmer and Western set menus available.Thank you to the entire team at Siemreap Green Residence for making our stay truly memorable.

    We should have stayed longer.
