Ta Prohm Hotel & Spa

The staff were nice.

It’s extremely old, dark, musty and next to a loud karaoke bar. This hotel is ancient and needs to be renovated asap. It was not a comfortable stay at all. I ended up moving to a much nicer hotel. It was worth the extra money to not stay here!

Gorgeous hotel. Staff was so friendly and willing to help/accommodate with any need we had. Located like 2 blocks from PUB street & across from the night market. Love that breakfast was included w/ our stay. Love the shuttle included to airport

Ta Prom continues to improve its rooms and service--I've been staying here for years. Plenty of helpful English-speaking staff, updated rooms and toiletries, and now a pool and spa. Location cannot be beat for easy access to restaurants, shops, airport.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Towels were large. The location is wonderful- right near the night market and Pub Street. Highly recommend!

Everything except the morning coffee

Morning coffee. Too strong had to go down the road every morning to get something I could drink. Then come back for breakfast.

I loved the location! You can walk everywhere, and all the main attractions are just a short ride away—whether by tuk-tuk or car.The staff truly stands out. They are on another level—polite, helpful, kind, and consistently exceptional throughout the stay.The breakfast buffet was good and just what you need to start the day before heading out to explore.Overall, a great experience with unbeatable convenience and outstanding service. I would definitely recommend it if you're mainly looking for a comfortable place to sleep and spend your days out exploring the city.

The room itself needs significant improvements. It felt quite old, and the heavy wood décor made it noticeably noisy. Since it’s so close to Pub Street, you can hear music from the clubs all night, as well as people walking through the hallway.Some details also affected the comfort: the linens had small tears, the ironing board was very old, and the bathtub is unusually high, which feels unsafe and slippery. Housekeeping was just okay—used cups were not removed, and on different days there was no hand soap or toilet paper.It’s difficult to leave a negative review because the staff truly does everything they can to make your stay pleasant. But the room I stayed in did not match the photos online, and that discrepancy makes a big difference.Overall, a great experience in terms of service and convenience, but I would recommend it mainly if you just need a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time out enjoying the city.

Fantastic staff, intricately carved wooden Cambodian history everywhere. I had an issue with my flight home and the hotel manager let me use his personal cell phone to get it straightened out. Will definitely stay there again.

Bathtub was slow to drain.

Great location and excellent service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel featured beautiful wooden interiors and decorative wall panels. Breakfast offered an excellent selection. Highly recommended.

Central location, friendly staff, large room, good view across the river, The wooden interior and carvings give the hotel a unique character although it makes the rooms quite dark. Good WiFi. Decent buffet breakfast.

Whilst the mattresses were comfortable, the pillows were not, being too high and firm. There was often a strong, unpleasant smell emanating from the bathroom. The pool is indoors and feels more like a Roman bath rather than a swimming pool. Buffet was decent but when there were too few guests, breakfast from a menu was offered. This got uninteresting pretty quickly. TV channel options fairly limited.

the location was great. i love the area. near to everything that you need. shopping, massage , eateries , 7/11 and many more. night market is just across the hotel which was a plus point. lovely swimming pool. the breakfast was lovely and variety to have. they even packed our breakfast as we left the hotel around 5am in the morning.

The room is very small, and the furnishings are very old. The soundproofing is quite poor。But the location is excellent.

Very cosy and confortable hotel. It may look old, but from our perspective, it adds history and “patine”. The wooden decoration is nice (with the statues and all) and the seating area with a glass floor over water was very interesting. The breakfast was varied and very good (you have to try the noodle soup). Very good price. The location is perfect, right in front of the night market, and 2-3 minutes from Pub Street (if you like that vibe…). Close to the Old Market and 5 minutes away from Angkor National Museum (which an awesome museum, by the way). Ou tuk-tuk driver for 3 days, Mr. Rorn, was arranged by the hotel, and he was very nice and helpful. Best of all: the staff. Very friendly and eager to help anyway they can. If we ever go back to Siem Reap (I hope we will…), we’ll stay there again.

Great location, wonderful traditional timber construction.Breakfast was very expansive and staff were wonderful.

Its Cambodian selection of foods were excellent and as well as authentic, according to my host! Not to mention that the coffee was top-notch! My only note of criticism would be that the kitchen work on getting actual sausage for its western selections as well as figuring out half-and-half cream and milk for the coffee. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Friendly, engaging staff members on entry and throughout hotel. Always support with assistance when needed. Street Food vendors across road which is handy for dinner. Pub Street around.the corner with plenty of Bars and Restaurants, markets in real close proximity.

Bed was quite firm and took a little getting used to, but that was it.

Give this hotel a miss, there’s so many places where you can get more for the same money. Our room had windows looking at a wall. And no natural light, there’s no mention of that on Booking.com in the photographs suggest there is a window. The room was old and dingy and I felt like I was in someone’s old basement. The room had a few mosquitoes flying about, I don’t know where they came from. The workers started making noise at 6:30 AM in the hallway with a circular floor polishing machine and I had to ask them to be quiet, but by then I couldn’t get back to sleep. Do I really need to ask that in a hotel at 6:30 AM? Furthermore, whatever they were using on the floors left a toxic smell which had nowhere to go since we had no windows. They still shouted up and down the hallway, even after the machine was shut down and were asked to be quiet.The swimming pool was ice cold and I couldn’t even get in. They charge extra for the bottled water which is normally free and cheaper hotels. Way overpriced for what it is, shop around you can do better. The pictures make it look nicer than it is.The breakfast was not free either, which would’ve been a nice thing to have thrown in along with free bottled water.
