    Pros +

    • Attentive service
    • Staff
    • I had a hotel assistant who make arrangements for everything like a personal 3-day area guide ($45/day). He knew area and history extremely well + best location for photos at ruins. A+ room, food, staff, service, cell phone, laundry, wine/snacks in room.

    Cons -

    • Location...noisy due to funeral parlor nearby
    • House keeping is inconsistent; there are days that they did not give us soaps n towels. Bathroom floor had blood stain in front of the toilet from previous occupant;had a water leak in my room and relocate to another room in the middle of the night.
    • I loved everything about the hotel, the staff and the service. I'm a single woman in my 70s traveling alone and I felt totally safe during my stay.

We stayed for 3 nights over New year in the King suit club room with a romantic bathtub at middle of living room and had a wonderful experience. Everything was designed with great care , in khmer traditional art and attention to detail, creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, really missing the old time . A variety of complimentary activities were offered in hotel so great. thoughtfully organized and enjoyable in its own way. The staff were exceptionally friendly , professional and attentive at all times. The food in all at breakfast was absolutely delicious, and special dietary requirements were handled effortlessly and with great care. The resort is very luxury and peaceful, There Overall, it was a truly luxury and memorable stay that we would happily recommend.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The personal service was excellent and the staff were all wonderful in every area. The room was roomy with a super comfy bed and the pool area was so appreciated. Perfect temperature and so very clean. The breakfast buffet was fit for a king. So many choices and so delicious. We also used the Ox restaurant several times and enjoyed it as well!! Also appreciated the bottled water left in our room. Would encourage anyone to book this fabulous hotel!

There was nothing that could have been better!

Traditional Khmer decoration and hospitality . Breakfast buffet is good

Privilege benefits reduced significantly and restaurant food is not good especially for the money

    9ChristopherPosted on: 12-30-2024

The staff really welcoming everyday and facilties superb. Food was excellent.

The food and drinks were over priced but expected that for a hotel resort.

    9IanPosted on: 11-16-2024

Super friendly staff, good English spoken. Nice room, bars and restaurants. Good concierge service for arranging trips to Angkor. Nice pool and good gym. Good location for Siem Reap too.

    Nothing!

Beautiful hotel with a fabulous pool, first class staff and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

Very comfortable, great breakfast, great room, big balcony, big bathroom with tub. Nice pool, big gym. We got a deal so was very good value

    Bad lighting. Broke my knee

Bad lighting. Bad staff, preposterous !

    10JonasPosted on: 3-27-2024

Absolutely everything! What an experience and place. Truly remarkable! The breakfast buffet was relly good with lots of variety. The gym was absolutely amazing - the pictures doesn’t quite justify. New equipments and spacious with air conditioning. We loved how attentive Andy from the front desk was. He was so helpful and kind! And so was the rest of the crew of Borei Angkor.

They closed the breakfast at 10 sharp. They even turned off the music and lights when the time was 1020 one day well knowing that we still had our breakfast. It didn’t provide a peaceful and slow morning for me (who can’t wake up too early on vacation). And 10 is way too early to close a breakfast buffet. The minibar in our room had only one of each items which is weird since we are two staying.

    8JackPosted on: 3-26-2024

Everyone was very helpful and respectful.

The comfort of the bed mattress was horrible and there was so many mosquitos in the room and facilities.

    9KengPosted on: 3-26-2024

Friendly welcoming staff. Clean, safe and good location.

    Loved everything.

Very big rooms with a nice decoration.Great buffet breakfastKindness of the staff

Years ago we went in this hotel and we appreciated home made jams and teas, a bigger selection of breads for breakfast. It does not exist any more

    10KeithPosted on: 3-13-2024

Everything! The staff were always welcoming and helpful. The dining, pool and spa were excellent - and the Culture Night was beautiful. The hotel played a major part in us experiencing a magical holiday in Cambodia.

The property is clean and comfortable, the gardens are incredibly beautiful, the room is spacious and the massage is one of the best I’ve had.The best thing, however, is the staff. We were greeted on our arrival by Lipai, who is amazing and arranged all our tours during our stay.

    9ChrisPosted on: 3-4-2024

Nice big room and balcony, huge breakfast selection, big pool, very helpful staff. Large gym though you had to get the AC going for a while before you could use it. Tip: tell your taxi or tuktuk driver you’re going to Borei Angkor. There is another hotel called the PrivilegeFloor.

About 25 minutes to get to Pub Street restaurants and night market, which felt far in the heat (and this was early February). However, there are lots of inexpensive tuktuks around.

From the moment I checked in until my departure, my experience at this resort was nothing short of spectacular. The service was impeccable, setting a high standard for hospitality that truly made my stay memorable. The restaurants, especially the Ox Club, offered an exceptional dining experience that went beyond my expectations. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish showcasing a blend of flavors that was both innovative and delicious. The atmosphere of the resort complemented the dining experience, creating a perfect backdrop for every meal. Beyond the culinary delights, the overall ambiance of the resort captured the essence of Cambodia beautifully, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the local vibe and culture. The rooms, while slightly dated, added to the charm, offering a unique opportunity to experience the country's aesthetic in a genuine and intimate way. Overall, every aspect of my stay was delightful, leaving me with nothing but fond memories and a deep appreciation for the meticulous attention to detail that made everything so enjoyable.

If I had to find a point for improvement, it would be the slightly dated condition of the rooms. While they certainly have their charm and contribute to the authentic Cambodian experience, a minor update could enhance comfort without losing the essence that makes the resort special. However, this is a minor observation in the context of an otherwise flawless stay. The exceptional service, exquisite dining, and the enchanting atmosphere far outweighed this detail, making it almost negligible.
