The hotel looks great, the local style is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool is large and pleasant. The breakfast is one of the best possible, the variety is very large, everything is fresh and delicious. In the evening it is pleasant to sit at the bar by the pool. There is always a tuk-tuk outside the hotel so we managed the trips easily. The staff is welcoming and available all the time. Full value for the price.

The lighting in the shower is very weak. The price of doing laundry in the hotel makes no sense, 10 times the price in the city.

staff - perfect, furniture - amazing

Poor choice of dishes for breakfast, only Asian dishes ("lunch"), no choice of bread, cold cuts, poor salads. Even a fried egg was made carelessly. No juices (even though there were few guests, the drinks were made from powder.... Avoid breakfast in this hotel... Unfortunately, a disappointment (and so little is missing for a very good rating)

My driver ho was sent from the hotel to pick me up at the airport ended up driving me for 3 days and he was very good.And the staff all from cleaning to the reception was very good and helpful and friendly.

The staff at the bar were not as attentive or helpful. Dinner took a long time to be delivered- over 1 hour.

The building and interior decor are amazing. I wished I had more time to just walk around and look at all the carvings, furniture and details. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool, with towels provided (although they don't tell you that). Ensuite had both bath and shower. Bath robes provided. New bottled water provided each day. Fridge, tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Far enough away from the city centre to be quiet. Beautiful spa facilities (but expensive)

Pool bar plays loud music all day and up to around 11pm, so relaxing by the pool is only relaxing if you like thumping club music playing in the background! If you go for the late breakfast sitting the hot food is cold. After spending a day or two just relaxing at the hotel we discovered that the hotel prices for food and spa facilities are around 10 TIMES more expensive than in the city! We paid $40 for a massage at the hotel and $4 at a massage shop in the city!

Breakfast has good selection but coffee/tea are left on burners and get too strong (stewed). Staff are very friendly and helpful most of the time. We really like having both bath and shower in the ensuite. I like that the hotel is trying to be environmentally conscious (or at least it says it is)

The room was above the pool bar which played loud party music from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm!! It was impossible to relax. I asked the bar staff for quiet calm music one day when there were only a few people around the poolside relaxing and reading. They said yes but kept on playing the same thumping music. There are signs in the room asking guests to be environmentally conscious, which I'm very happy about but housekeeping staff turn on all the lights and put the air conditioning on full blast!

Great Location and great price for stay. Swimming pool was lovely although cold.

The food and drink is exceptionally expensive. US$4 for a can of coke plus tax and service charge.

The location is perfect to reach in few min Angkor Wat and the city center. Breakfast with a lot of choices. Pillows and beds were very comfortable.

Bed sheets and bath robes had stains (bath robes even when we requested to have new clean ones, they anyway had stains). It happened multiple times that the personnel didn’t understand what we said in English (once even during breakfast, when requesting for an omelette).The rooms are old, in our room there was no shower but just a bath with an old curtain, and I definitely will not consider it a 5* hotel. One day we came back in the afternoon and the room hasn’t been cleaned (at 4 pm)Anyway the personnel will be supportive and try to help with anything!

The property is well designed, the rooms comfortable and sized generously, the bathrooms spotlessly clean, and the breakfasts substantial. Their spa is a delightful choice after a long day visiting the sites around Angkor. The staff is professional and extremely supportive.

The staff here are wonderfully helpful and polite. the hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated in dark woods, a real pleasure to stay in. the pool area is spacious and comfortable. the breakfast is good and we found the room service very good.

The gym appeared to be closed - no lighting or air conditioning and without a clear idea of how to get these turned on. I am sure the front desk would have sorted this out should we have really needed it but in the event we went to the pool instead.

Noce building , spa and also room space was good.

Breakfast could be better since some food finish very early in the morning.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff... The hotel, though clearly not recently built, is well maintained and pleasant. The common areas around the swimming pool, the bar, the lobby offer nice working spaces with good WIFI connections.The bedroom was large and comfortableThe Breakfast offered a wide variety of options of Warm Dishes.

Coffee lovers might have trouble with the morning coffee... ;)

It is a great value for money. The hotel is a little out town, so good place if you want to chill out. Great pool nice to come back to after day round of the temples.

Empress Angkor Resort & Spa was relaxing escape from the street of Siem Reap and temples of Angkor, the staff was very helpful, the facilities were clean. We enjoy our stay very much.
