Koulen Hotel

My family and I spent a relaxing week at Koulen Hotel. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants, including a 12-minute walk to pub street. Our suite was spacious, clean and well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay and helped us arrange tours, massages, and tuk tuks when needed. (Special thanks to Dika and the rest of the front desk team for their help throughout the week!) The breakfasts and ordered food was good, and we spent a few hours each day by the pool sipping the delicious signature cocktails and mocktails.

Our suite faced the street, which can be a bit noisy at times. We slept soundly, so it did not bother us. However, light sleepers may want to ask for a room facing the pool and courtyard.

The property is beautiful and the staff, especially Bo, were amazing. We did not want to leave !! Great location! Great spa! Great food! Great staff!!

There’s nothing to dislike!!

We travelled as a family of five and the hotel provided excellent rooms that were all connected with a common family area.

Very clean, walking distance to all things within the city, spa, gym.

The breakfast was good, but it was the same every day. We stayed for 5 nights and would have preferred some variety.

Great location, great facilities, great swimming pool, great service, lots of space, great breakfast.

The property was pristine. The breakfast was beyond expectations. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also supremely satisfying. And finally, the staff were incredibly helpful especially Salorn!

This is a boutique hotel. Very nice and helpful staff and smiling all the time. The location is excellent. Very clean. There is a shopping mall just two minutes walking. At night there is another near-by clean and organized night market for handmade crafts. The hotel’s restaurant prepare, cook and deliver very tasty food. Try the mixed ginger and pumpkin soup. The best.

Dikas and Lin were excellent during my time at the Koulen hotel. This is a fantastic hotel. It has a gym, full spa, gorgeous pool, restaurant with very flavorful dishes and the pool bar and room service was all so convenient after long days of touring the temples. Breakfast was unbelievable, so many options Khmer dishes and western breakfast dishes. There's a noodle soup making station and omelet station and endless options. I was so impressed. Hotel staff were very kind, respectful, accommodating and helpful. The neighborhood location is very quiet, gardens, pool, balcony and rooms are all very relaxing. Definitely worth requesting a pool view. Very tranquil. It must be the location, somehow in most of the tours I took, I was the last to be picked up and first to be dropped off which really does help you get more rest. I highly recommend this hotel. It had everything i needed, including laundry service.

The staff, including Bo and Chai, were absolutely amazing. They were very attentive and accommodating. Wonderful breakfast, beautiful pool/poolside bar, and exceptional and inexpensive spa services completed our stay. Perfect location near Pub Street. You can't go wrong if you stay here!

Lovely place to stay in Siem Reap! Staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind! Booked a 3 bedroom villa that suited our family of five with more than enough room, great location for walking around Siem Reap!

Spacious rooms, bathroomsl and living room. Location was nice. Staff were very attentive. The scale in the room made it possible for us to pack the baggage with the correct weight. Balcony was huge and the pool view was nice. Banana chips were complimentary and yummy.

Handheld shower was broken. Hallways were dark for my 85 year old Mom. Both pillows were too high. I wish one was less stuffed so we can pick and choose.

Location was fantastic within walking distance to made in Cambodia market and embassy Khmer gastronomy restaurant. Both I highly recommend visiting.

Convenient, clean, spacious, staff are friendly and proficient in English. Cooking class was excellent. We loved the local market tour and the menu we learned. They even accommodated our special menu requests.

The room came with a kitchenette, but it did not have pots and pans. I’m sure if I had asked housekeeping for some, they would provide. In any case we didn’t really have to do any cooking.

Nothing - everything was amazing

The bedroom was massive, it was a 2 bedroom suite. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly.

The swimming pool was not cold, so not very nice to go in and not refresh yourself.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, easy to walk to the river and restaurants but peaceful. Book a room overlooking the pool as Siem Reap streets are noisy. The staff happily moved us to a pool facing apartment on our second night. The two bedroom apartments are huge and ideal for families.

Excellent hotel very friendly and welcoming staff , good location for Angkor Wat 15 mins in Tuktuk very good location for Pub Street 7mins Tuktuk hotel room good condition and very quiet , large pool area not too busy Special thanks to the reception staff Chhon , Savouet ,Chivion were extremely helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable
