    Pros +

    • It was beautiful. Check-in was easy and convenient. Rooms were spacious and very well equipped Breakfast was delicious!
    • Very nice luxury farm not a 5 star town hotel - thats what we wanted and we loved it. The kids had a great time playing, picking cherries and doing the corn labyrint. The Ravensburger Spielepark is close by and a must do day program with kids younger than 12 years old. I would classify it more as an apart hotel. There is a resturant but limited room service and cleaning which for 2 nights was ok.
    • Private parking (covered), cleanliness, room space, amenities, small kitchen, bathroom, comfortable beds, balcony, view, surroundings

    Cons -

    • Pool was a bit green and full of algae. Not sure if that was intentionally to be natural or if the filter was not working but we did not like it either way.
    • The hotel mentioned before, that the beds have hard mattresses. It is recommend to use the mattress toppers that the hotel offers.
    • Place is big and Google maps drive to the wrong entrance. From that point at night is absolutely unclear how to find the reception. I hope the owner will fix gmaps directions

It's a nice place for families with lots of nature around. Spacious rooms and plenty of indoor and outdoor playing areas. The breakfast was superb. There are 6 charging ports if you come with an electrical car.

The hotel mentioned before, that the beds have hard mattresses. It is recommend to use the mattress toppers that the hotel offers.

Marvelous place to spend time with kids or as a couple. The design and the food are amazing. But the best thing is the spa area.

The renovations and new facilities are excellent. We have stayed several times through the years and have enjoyed seeing the continued expansion. Beautiful grounds and great hub to explore the Bodensee region.

The location was very nice. The building was amazing and the room very nice!

    The breakfast was poor.

Amazing facilities and playgrounds for kids all ages. Great breakfast!!

The pillows were very thin. We did get a set of two, which was better but not optimal. The pizza was not so good. The towels were a little smelly.

A lot of activities for kids. Great view from the hotel. Hotel stuff was super friendly and helpful. every question answered, all requests fulfilled.

Inability to open any window in the room - the air conditioner wasn't enough - no air entered the inner rooms. It was very hot and stuffy.

Very family friendly and really good food

The rooms are too hot during summer

    2MaudPosted on: 8-5-2024

The bed was comfy and that was about it

We got there when It was already dark and couldn’t see that our room with a view was on top of the kids’ playground, with a side view on a mountain. The balconies are so close there is no sense of peace and quiet. When we got there the glasses were dirty and there was no sponge to clean them so we had to use a tea towel. The shower is nice but the door is not big enough to not wet your stuff (there are hooks to put your towels and they got wet.) There’s is no comfy place to sit in the « living room » only a bed with a wooden frame. The tv remote had a sign « smart tv » on it but i guess the staff blocked the access to any of the apps and since we’re not German speakers there was no access for the tv. We thought we would wait and see for breakfast hoping it might help turn our mind around, well you guessed it : it didn’t.There were very few choices, no lift so if you’re not able bodied you cannot have a nice breakfast. As to going around the hotel it was very difficult there were only very few signs.Overall, this hotel doesn’t match neither his description (a sauna in a hotel doesn’t make your hotel a spa place) nor the price (158€). The toilet paper was one ply only which feels like they are ripping you off just to get the most profit. Had it been half the price I wouldn’t have been so disappointed, but between the room and the 20€ breakfast (that had no halal option nor many choices) i wouldn’t recommend I’d if you’re looking at spending a chill weekend in between adults. It is clearly a hotel made for kids.

Children really liked the pool, play areas. Picking cherries. Lovely hot showers plenty of hot water. Easy parking.

No aircon. Pillows on beds just a cushion. No support. Very uncomfortable.
