    Pros +

    • I stayed in 2 different rooms - standard (view out to the back/parking lot) & then premium (view of the city with a balcony). The premium room I stayed in was nicely renovated and had a beatiful view with a small outdoor seating area. The only downside - if travelling with another person - is that the bathroom has a barndoor (glass) that doesn't fully close nor keep out any sounds or light if someone needs to use the facilities during the night/early morning. The standard room facing toward the parking lot had a solid bathroom door and had a lot of counter room in the bath. The room was a bit smaller, but very comfortable. I think they are slowly renovating/modernizing all the rooms. All rooms now have window screens to keep out mosquitoes & other insects - excellent improvement! :) The premium room also had AC (although I didn't test it as it was cool enough) - great perk! Breakfast was fantastic - with fresh made eggs to order - and the breakfast room (and patio) have terrific views of Ravensburg. Lots of free parking. Quite area. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful - great customer service! Will definitely stay again!

    • nice room ,friendly staff

    Cons -

    • The glass barnstyle door in the premium room - doesn't shut completely & let's out light & sounds, etc.FYI, hotel is located on top of a hill, which means a good hike up or down if not driving - just something to consider if mobility is an issue (but perfect if traveling with a car).

    • There was a slight smell of food in the common areas due to the restaurant

The hotel is on a hill, about 30 minutes on foot from the old town. Some rooms overlook the old town, the other rooms overlook the forest. It has a big restaurant with nice view onto the town. It was full of people on Sunday evening around 7 p.m., so we couldn't park in front of the hotel, we had to park about 100 meters away in the same street. After 8 p.m. we could find a parking lot at the hotel. Anyway, it has big parking area. The room is very nice with modern furniture, it looks newly renovated. The bathroom has a sliding glass door, it is a bit strange. The whole hotel is quite modern, very clean and quiet at night.Breakfast is from 6.30, it has wide and high quality selection of cold meal and drinks. The lady at the breakfast was very friendly and helpful.

There is no fridge/mini bar in the room.Parking can be difficult as mentioned above. There is no hot meal for breakfast.

The staff & management were super nice - very friendly and accomodating! The restaurant area is lovely, with a great outdoor space overlooking the city. Breakfast was good; there's plenty to eat, but no "hot" breakfast (no scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.). - but they made me a fresh, boiled egg, which was perfect. Modern-ish rooms - I think they are still updating some rooms - but have everything you need. Beds are very comfortable - they're on the soft side so my friend wasn't as happy as I was, as she likes harder mattresses. Great view of the city and easy to get to with a car. There's an elevator, but a couple of steps to get to it and limited hours of use (8:00-21:00). Some rooms have a city view - would be worth it for a longer stay. Lots of free parking, which is great! I didn't try the restaurant (except brekkie), but they have a special for dinner which I'd definitely check out next time (3 courses for 16EUR I think).

I was here in mid Summer and there was no AC/fans available. And, there were no screens on the windows - so I killed about 25+ mosquitos before I went to bed and had to leave the windows closed, which made for restless, hot and sticky nights. The management said that they are in the process of adding AC, fans and screens - but I would 100% check if they are installed/ready before booking again. It's too hot without at least a fan and screens - I did not sleep well both nights! The pool is tiny - like really, really tiny - more for kids to splash in. The elevator has a couple of steps to get to it and has limited hours - so it doesn't run between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am. Kind of a bummer if you need to schlepp luggage up or down during those times or are traveling with someone who has mobility issues. The rooms facing the back are also very loud due to the parking area right there. Maybe not as problematic in Fall/Winter, but would not recommend for Summer when you would want windows open (if there were screens, that is . . . ). As the hotel sits atop of a hill, I would recommend either coming by car or taxi - it's a hike from the city/train station.

Really nice restaurant and bar area.

Rooms weren’t super modern but they were very clean and comfortable.

Kind staff and nice location to see the city from the terrace. Nice breakfast.

On the second night, there were many mosquitoes in my room after I came back, which maybe came into through the opened window after housekeeping. I got a lot of mosquito bites during the night.

Breakfast and dinner were very good. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a great view of the city (only 10 minutes drive). We enjoyed a beautiful evening walk in the neighborhood as well as the city during the day.A very well staffed family business. The restaurant is also very popular with the locals.

The value was good so I can't complain.

location, good value for money breakfast, staff, gorgeous view from breakfast area, quietness

small room, small old fashioned bathroom, car park in front of window

    Helpful staff/owner

Room was small and no privacy with only net curtains with cars parked directly outside window. Parking full in the evening when restaurant busy.

Nice restaurant, good view from the terrace, good breakfast, good parking. Reasonable price, 10min walk downtown.

The room was really bad. Some rooms have no toilet, shower was directly in the room, equipment in the room from the 80's.

The quiet location looking over Ravensburg and its proximity to Ravensburg for the Rutenfest. The meals in the Restaurant were fab.Very accommodating with our cockerpoo.

People smoking on their balconies around us filling our room with smoke. The room and bathroom was a bit dated.
