Hotel Sonne

Nice small hotel, good breakfast. Only downside was that restaurant/bar wasn't open in the evenings. Perhaps they open in the peak season!

We were on a long distance walking trip - so for an overnight stay it was good. For the price it was goid value.

Small bathroom and room. Bathroom, especially the wash basin is a bit run down. Entrance to hotel was not very clean - empty cigarette boxes and dirty table.

The beds were comfortable. Good location.

Overall cleanliness in the room was below average - stains on the chairs, the carpet, and the walls. The bedsheets and the bathroom, which is the most important for us, were ok.

Great Location, supportive staff and a big room. Bathroom was newly renovated and very clean.

There was a certain damp smell in the room but overall bearable. If they have air conditioning OR a fan, it would be better in summer.

Not good and hospitality is poor when things change

They did not have breakfast which was on the site and when we tried to cancel we got no on request. Don’t sell something you don’t have

For this money it's a brilliant option. Nice service, clean room with daily cleaning, new furniture, nice bathroom inside

We like the room, it is quite larger than other comparable hotel we stayed last time in Weingarten. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable.

The location is ok, close to city centre and shops. The parking is not big, but there is a public parking right across the street. Enjoyed raspberries on breakfast :)

Weird hotel with lot of workers who constantly occupy the shared terrace and smoking there, all smoke then came into hall and into rooms also. The presence of these people was also stressful

Booked at the last moment, affordable as booked at last moment. Breakfast was good.

Sofa was bit dirty, better if they remove it ?

Rastaurant...pizza...steak...place for smokers:-)

The well located and was not difficult to find. We arrived very late at the place and the staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

The booking on the internet was not aligned with what received the hotel. Fortunately the personal was very opened to adapt everything.

It was a nice stay for one night. The hotel and its neighborhoods are pretty quiet. We had a very good breakfast. I would like to return some day.

The parking lot was almost full. I always look for parking places at the hotels I'm checking in and I even make reservation if possible. I tried to find an empty spot. Lucky for me, someone was leaving.

Staff and food was top notch.

It was quite hot in the room. A vertical fan was provided but still was hot. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms.

Well-situated, comfortable and clean, with free parking. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Simple but good value for money.

Room was fine , but could benefit from air con ...guy on reception in the morning should have been on reception when I arrived .. helpful information was offered on departure that would have been fantastic on arrival ? granted I don't speak German but check-in was difficult with no translation ? even Google was struggling with receptionist

Restaurant was shut , one reason I chose this hotel was in the hope it would be somewhere I could get food .... It should have been stated on booking . Com that it was closed

Cockroaches and smell. Nonacceptable.

Unfortunately we have found cockroaches in the room. The receptionist gave us different room, but there was cockroach as well so it is was not an isolated problem, what was told to us. Around midnight we did not find anyone at the reception so we contacted the owner by phone and left the hotel immediately. The bugs were german cockroaches (blattella germanica) as demostrated by the provided video. That is simply unacceptable. The room is clearly unsuitable for use and also has an unpleasant smell. It was impossible to fing other accomodation deep in the night and we were forced to change the plans for the last day of holidays and to drive to Prague 550km. The owner Mr. Mario Ivancic sent an apologizing message, trying to explain, that this sort of insect flies from outside and it is not their fault. This is nonsense. It is result of low level of sanitation of the object.
