ibis Styles Brive La Gaillarde

Reception very helpful. Breakfast very good

Bed linen uncomfortable. No rubbish bin in bedroom.

Th room was quiet and convenient.

The sheets are made of seersucker and are uncomfortable.

Very reasonably priced hotel. Room size ample. Breakfast large and varied (served from 05hrs to 10hrs). Very helpful staff locked our bikes safely away in one of the conference rooms. Evening meal available just 20m away in a chain restaurant (Cortepaille). Good showers and very clean.

Nothing really.

We arrived by car with two bikes on the back. The place is a little difficult to find, in the middle of a large commercial area, but it is close to the autoroute and is within a kilometre of a Carrefour and very close to a number of places to eat. We were hoping to leave our vehicle for a few days and then make a bicycle tour of the area. Celie and the other staff were very helpful, looking after our bikes overnight and allowing us to park our car for the duration.Reviewers are correct. Getting down early for breakfast (half past seven-ish) is probably a good idea. I liked the seersucker sheets - they certainly save on ironing.

Nothing really.

The reception staff on leaving very good and sorted out a problems with booking double. The night man was great. The breakfast was good. parking was secure and good

The receptionist was not there when we arrived i presed the intercome and she came ten minutes later from IBIs budget next door. No apology and no offer to sort out double booking which the lady in the morning did next morning in ten minutes. Beds too hard . The grouting in bathroom needs attention so could not be cleaned

Easy to get to. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice. Lovely restaurant next door. Comfortable bed.

Leak in bathroom, constant puddle on floor. Not much toilet paper, so ran out. No bin in roomNo tea/coffee making facility in room.

Very nice hotel! Cosy rooms, great bathrooms, very good beds, delicious breakfast and an A* for the lady behind the check in counter. Very good atmosphere. Will make this my stop in the future.

Nice staff, professional and warm. The breakfast is really good, with a large choice.Excellent.

Desk staff very helpful. Room plain but functional. Bed comfortable. Breakfast good. - but

only instant decaffenated coffee.

Room was OK

We booked a room with half board. Half board means breakfast & dinner. The hotel refused to honour the booking saying that it meant only breakfast included. Took up the issue with booking.com and got a 15€ refund which was not really sufficient. Didn't like their attitude so won't use Ibis again.

Internet parking location

The site was like a building site . No hot water on arriving .Booking . Com get the address right .This is third time this year lack of proper address What has happened to ibis lack of staff

Location was great. Very easy to get back on to the highway when traveling onwards.

The rooms were extremely cold on both occasions. The last night, they were unable to provide us with a room that had a heater and the air-condition heating system didn't work.

Clean comfortable bedding, comfortable bed. Quite nights sleep.

The breakfast was great. Even if the location is not very pleasant (industrial) it was quiet and not so far from the city. All in one, it did the job for one night. A big up to the staff, people were nice and very helpfull to find a restaurant.

The vecinity

Very conveniently located hotel, not far from main road, we were travelling back through France to Dieppe - staff very friendly and helpful, everything we needed for 1 night pit stop! There was a really nice grill restaurant nearby too and a big supermarket not far away - so we didn’t even need to nip into the main town we could just quickly get back on our way the next day

I liked the hotel. The room is clean and the location is good.

The only thing that spoiled the impression a little is that at 9 am the cleaning of the rooms is actively starting and the roommaids are trying to enter your room to clean it. Despite the fact that the check out from the hotel is at 11 am.

Poor

Old and ugly, room small, bed not comfortable..

Surprisingly good breakfast buffet. Newly renovated. Easy access from the motorway.

Very small family room but guess that is normal for Ibis.

Spacious room, confortable beds

Noise from the Air ConditioningNoise from the corridor

Good transit address. Friendly staff.

One staff member was ill, but didn't wear any protection mask when attending the reception desk.
