- Small quirky room, wonky desk but fine for the price. Close to indoor market
- The location was very central, and it was set at a good price for what you get. With the convenience of parking close by and a tobacco shop/coffee/bar on site.
- LocationQuaint feeling
Cons -
- Separate entrance from cafe, dark stairs and we had to pay lots for parking, maybe we chose the wrong cart park
- Room could do with a revamp. It was a bit musky and was without curtains, which I found a bit odd!!!
- Musty smell in hall way

NONE, IT'S A SCAM... TOTALLY NOT RECMMENDABLE.
We called that we will arrive allate at night around 11pm, and the staff said yes. Then, after a few hours, we called again just to be sure, but the other staff said they would only be open until 9 pm. We even sent a message in the booking.com but we dis not receive any reply. When we arrive around 10, the hotel office is already closed. This is so frustrating. The staff doesn't even speak in English or in Spanish. We will NEVER recommend this hotel. We are asking for a refund but they don't reply. The staff attitude, no one speaks English nor Spanish. It's a scam.

A great location in the centre of town with very quaint rooms. Comfortable and enjoyable, we would stay again.
Parking was in a public car park opposite the property at an additional charge. Location was very convenient but parking was advised as included.
This is an old fashioned French hotel and like many it takes you back in time, the old fashioned wallpaper the small shower / bathroom and a bed like granny's, loved it. The location couldn't have been better.
French breakfast in general has become expensive for what you get to eat. A couple of croissants, maybe a bit of a buffet around €20 for 2.
Emplacement top parking possible mais payant

A real old time warp hotel - no lift, old fashioned wallpaper, huge armoire and a tiny shower. But the water was hot and plentiful and the man at reception (in the bar downstairs) carried my bag up the stairs. Close to the city centre but quiet. Breakfast was good value too.
Good location near to town centre. Convenient public parking opposite property. Good breakfast in Bar with cheerful staff.
Spiral staircase difficult for older people with luggage. Tiny bathroom, with a shower that was impossible to get into. Need to pay attention to cleanliness.
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. Convenient parking. Restaurants nearby .
We really enjoyed a truly quaint French hotel. The staff were lovely, the rooms very comfortable and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.
Nothing. A tiny niggle no hairdryer but otherwise perfect
Room and building were full of character. Great staff very friendly place. Perfect for the town centre places.
Traditional French hotel. Centre of town close easy parking.
A lovely quirky room which was very comfortable. Friendly staff and a short walk to town. Parking right opposite.
Breakfast is the only thing that could have been better as they didn’t have anything gluten-free.
Good
The AC did not work well. It was very hot.We came down for breakfast before 10am but were told it had finished.
it was 36 degrees & the bedroom had air conditioning - a life saver !!!paid car park across the road, 1st 2hrs free. close to town centre.
3 flights of stairs to climb in the extreme heat & no tea/coffee facilities in room.
Close to centre of Brive. car parking opposite. Clean room. Air conditioning in room which was a bonus as very hot on the night we stayed. Good breakfast.
Small room. Poor, uncomfortable bed. Very old fashioned decor. Small bathroom and shower cubicle. Main door inaccessible due to evening entertainment on terrace.
The location was great: very near the city centre for shopping and nightlife. Lovely atmosphere all around.
The unhelpful and arrogant manager. Unable to have a shower and wash our hair on Sunday morning early - we needed to be gone by 8am - because the soap dispenser was empty and the one 10ml sachet of liquid soap per person was not even close to enough to wash ourselves - I went downstairs at 8am to find the manager, who said he’d be there to open up at that time. No sign of him til 8.30am! When he did finally arrive and I told him about the lack of soap he told me I was wrong and there definitely was soap in the dispenser. No apology, no, “CanI get you some?” And when my husband, furious, told him we hadn’t been able to shower and had to leave, he said it was our problem as we hadn’t called him. I’d been downstairs waiting for 30 mins! Rather than apologise, he laughed at me when I said I would put my complaint on Trip Advisor. And I certainly will. We left the hotel unwashed, irritated and very angry.
Very quirky place and the chap who greeted us was very personable and helpful. Convenient location on edge of town centre. It’s a no-frills kind of place but for the price, you can’t complain. Everything was clean and tidy.
Slightly worn decor but then, for 52 Euros for the two of us, I can’t really complain.
