Pros +
- Location was ok as ı use train everday for near villages
- The location was great (and so easy to find from the train station), which made it very easy/quick to get to relax after a long train journey, and even though my French is very beginner, the team was lovely/everyone very friendly. The property was only 5-10 min walk from great cafes, markets and shopping areas too.
- Large room large ensuite bathroom
Cons -
- Room is too small. Impossible to breath at hot weather if you do not open the window. Its noisy as its near the train statin and the main roads. İmpossible to sleep. Wifi is horrible. Just forget it. Never works. Breakfast is good but there are price differences. If you make reservation one day before its cheaper. Allas even ı make reservation in advance they ask me full price during check out. They strongly and unkindly insist on that. Owners / directors are very stressful, unkind and rude. On the limits of agresiveness. And they do not give invoice for my cash payments. It should be illegal. The prices are almost double for booking clients. Booking should drop this hotel from his lists.
- The reviews about hearing other rooms are definitely correct. I used to live across from a train station and am quite a deep sleeper, so I thought it wouldn’t bother me, but I would definitely recommend ear plugs. As a solo traveller, I would have also loved a door chain for that extra piece of mind overnight.

The bed was uncomfortable
Convenient location next to the station, friendly welcome despite late arrival and a good, copious breakfast. Best of all for us, there were gluten free options for breakfast despite late notice (lovely baguette!).
Nothing. We were only staying the night while travelling but would have loved to stay longer and explore the area.
Bed was vey bad not comfortable AT all, woke UP in the middle of the night, got back pain
Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Temperature was perfect. Quiet (despite Storm Leslie!) Nice & uncomplicated shower. Friendly & helpful staff. Ample breakfast. Excellent location by the train station & close to town centre.
The location is really convenient, check in process is easy & quick
The sound insulation between rooms isn’t great
The hotel is located right across the street from the railway station. Everything clean, decent value for the little money I paid (off-season).
The bathroom has no door and the toilet is the vacuuming model known from trains and ships. So flushing can be heard far over the corridor. The room was very small and outlets for charging your devices was not a question back in the years the hotel was built.
Despite being small and basic, with a linoleum floor and the bathroom as part of the same room (which is not really unexpected for a 2-star hotel), the room was very clean, and was cleaned (with bed sheets changed, etc.) for every night I stayed there. The price was affordable and very good value for money. Most of the staff didn't speak English, but the ones that did were mostly helpful and kind.
The building had very thin walls, meaning all noise made from guests in nearby rooms was very loud. This made it difficult to get to sleep on multiple occassions. Furthermore, on my final night, my room flooded due to a plumbing issue. Notifying the staff of the issue was difficult due to the language barrier, but once informed, they were very quick to attend to the problem and relocate me to another room without any problems.
Convenient to the train station across the street. Quiet. Clean. Good value.
Everything was good. No problems
The location was exactly what we wanted for an early departure from the train station.
The reception was dismal. The gentleman at reception was cold and unhelpful; unresponsive to questions and acted like he was doing us a favor checking us in to the hotel.
Right near the station and town, clean and tidy room
No Kettle in room
Room a little small but very clean and of a good standard. Location and good price.
Its location and the friendly staff. Handy for both the railway station and the car hire office.
The stairs! Hard when just off the train! Great for fit people but not easy for the older less mobile!
for the price room is very good (I had been upgraded to a bigger room)
reception little bit "cold"
Basic cheap but tired small room in hotel next to station. Bar restaurant downstairs looked like it could be ok, but was closed when i arrived.
Room for the bike was ok if there was just one or two of you, but a large group would struggle.
Family Room, very convenient
A bit noisy as the street is next doorNo private parking but a public one next door
miserable unfriendly greeting, awful small room that had a strange smell. the whole place smelt. parking is a nightmare in this town, stay somewhere else.
Close to the railway station. Morning person in charge was nice and accommodating..
Small room, which was in keeping with the price, but extremely noisy from late guests and very early work and transportation in the street. Late arrival person was rude.
Looked and felt like a hostel, two female travellers and didn’t feel too safe. Also the mosquitos were terrible.
