Mercure Perigueux Centre Historique

The location, friendliness of the staff

Over decorated room… a bit small

Great location

Kept having to get the room key re-programmed whenever we left and returned to the hotel. The front desk staff eventually said it was because I held it close to my mobile phone so it would be helpful if they informed you not to do that when you check in.

HELPFUL STAFF. NICE BREAKFAST SELECTIONS.

pillows were hard.

Our stay was made exceptional because of Vanessa, Marine, Pauline, Yuliana, Ségolène. They were all very hospitable, caring, attentive and welcoming. They made our stay very pleasant! They are a true asset to your hotel!

Great location, a good-size room, was nice to have a little fridge in the room. There is public parking available very close to the hotel.

Breakfast is grossly overpriced, we didn't take it and didn't see many people do either. When we arrived, there was no receptionist to greet us. Overall, the level is that of a good 3-star hotel, not of a 4-star one.

Locality

Hairdryer and no milk in bedroom when there was kettle tea coffee etc

We had a nice stay. The staff friendly, room are clean, very well located. The breakfast was tasty with local products. We highly recommand this hotel.

All was perfect

Good location close to tourist sites and centre. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room and really comfy bed

No space in their parking but very reasonable paid parking across the road.only 13 euro for two days. Our phone navigation took us down a no go bus lane to reach the hotel so beware.

Location and car park

Disappointing museum and town, some good restaurants

Excellent location with some private parking and public parking just across the square. Common areas attractively decorated.Upgraded superior room was spacious, quiet and with plenty of storage. The AC worked well.Breakfast was varied, coffee good.Efficient staff.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but 17:00 is late for check in.

Good location for all the sights. Comfortable room, helpful staff.

Comfortable modern bedroom, air conditioning, great breakfast.

Rooms were great, clean and comfortable. Air con worked so well that I was sad to leave it! Bathroom facilities were modern and everything was so clean. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance of the old town of Perigueux and close to the intercity bus stop. One of our rooms was upgraded and had dressing gowns, slippers and free mini bar!

Everything. It was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were unfailingly helpful. The location is perfect, for the town and for parking. The breakfast had a great range of foods.

Absolutely nothing and if I had to think of the slightest quibble, just as information for the hotel, the croissants weren’t of the highest quality.

Very attentive staff, we felt really welcome! The hotel was nice, the room had enough space and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast fell short of expectations when considering the price…

Nice room, good beds, good breakfast, very attentative staff, very good loction,

Spacious and bright rooms, quiet environment, good room service menu, nice and welcoming staff.

The hotel was very comfortable, rooms were clean, good WiFi reception. Did not have breakfast, so no comment. Good location where we were able to walk to some of the local sites.

Had a room facing the street so it was rather noisy at times. Definitely need a car if you want to see some of the other sites near Périgueux.

Very nice location. Friendly staff and a superb breakfast
