    Pros +

    • It’s a really lovely old chateau with a lot of character. We had a large room with a balcony which for anyone staying in the summer would be perfect. We liked that I had private parking and allows dogs. The staff we were encountered were pleasant although we did need Google translate to assist us in understanding each other.
    • it was a beautiful building, and and the staff friendly, notmon the cheap side and no fridge in the room for water ,but was very llovely experience
    • Convenient parking through gates off main road. Short walk to restaurants. Nice bed linen and new bathroom though sliding door would not operate properly.

    Cons -

    • We didn’t like the fact that food is not available. Breakfast can be pre ordered before 7:30pm the night before. The fact that food is not served is a major negative. My husband and I walked across the bridge and around the town looking for somewhere to eat. The main offerings appeared to be kebabs. We ended up purchasing two sticks of bread and eating with pate we had in our cool box. So be aware in the dining limitations
    • No restaurant despite bing flagged as having one. Shown to an annex room through tatty undergrowth and up a metal spiral staircase, which was basically a fire escape. After some thought we decided not to accept this room as neither of us are in our youth. We were met with some resistance but eventual change of room on ground floor. Still in annex through same surroundings.
    • No facilities for dinner but only a short walk into town.

Beautiful, grand house just off the centre of the town. Our rooms were in an annexe in the garden, beautiful rooms very tastefully renovated. Excellent breakfast, easy access to town for bars and restaurants. Could happily have stayed longer.

    9JonnyPosted on: 9-16-2024

Thé landlady was extremely welcoming and helpful to us, arriving late after a long journey. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast very good. A beautiful house to stay in.

    8LynnPosted on: 9-12-2024

The location was great with parking on site.Pet friendly

No facilities for dinner but only a short walk into town.

    6PaulPosted on: 9-7-2024

Breakfast was ok if a little overpriced for what was available. Location near to town centre. Also only a short walk to restaurant La Ferme Saint Jacques which is excellent.

Not having to climb a metal fire escape with luggage to get to the room. You need to be fit and strong.

Convenient location, friendly reception staff, easy secure parking

My room was very small and in an old annex building

    8MarionPosted on: 7-25-2024

The warm and friendly welcome. The spacious room in the annexe to avoid steps as requested. The beautiful building and mature, relaxing garden.

    9IleanaPosted on: 7-16-2024

It's a very nice and quiet property, elegant but discreet. We loved the beds, the spa and the garden.

    9AlexanderPosted on: 7-8-2024

Room was excellent, clean and large. SPA was amazing. Excellent location. Very dog friendly. Breakfast was good.

Wifi was poor. That was it.

    8JonathanPosted on: 7-7-2024

Lovely character property. Great location and parking safely and easily.

Shower in Chinese room a bit cramped and room needed a good polish

    2LynnPosted on: 6-29-2024

    Disappointing

Bathroom not fit for purpose. Air conditioning didn’t work and the furniture in the room was an obstacle course.

    8PeterPosted on: 6-6-2024

Very pleasant hotel in a characterful building. Parking adjacent, secured at night. Very pleasant and helpful reception staff.

The hotel no longer offers a restaurant service, other than for large specific functions.

    7CathiePosted on: 6-3-2024

Room nice, bed comfortable. Staff friendly. Lovely breakfast. Plenty of parking.

Top floor bit of a hike up the stairs No restaurant.

    9Jean-louisPosted on: 4-4-2024

    Very good

I would prefer to have breakfast not in my room and appreciate more the property.I would prefer also to have someone to do a proper checkout. I had to let the keys on the desk.

    7AlistairPosted on: 3-17-2024

Location was good for us.Car parking was very convenient at the front of the hotel.Helpful staff.

Hotel decor was a little dated.Breakfast was basic.

    10ChrisPosted on: 12-3-2023

I’ve stayed here twice now and will be back - the hotel is charming, spacious and the staff are very friendly.

    8MartinPosted on: 9-18-2023

Very nice place in an ancient villa. Quite some experience.

Each time the phone or tablet was off, you had to re-connect to the WiFi. Quite annoying.

    9LesliePosted on: 9-14-2023

Good location, easy parking, friendly staff

No lift to the room and we had quite a lot of luggage. The first room we were given had very basic bathroom facilities but we asked for a different room and this was excellent
