No iron provided in the room. We need to go downstairs but it is okay for us

Location is strategic

Furniture is old. Still use old tv, old ac which make noise when operates. Bathroom shower leak everywhere. Old tiles in bathroom.

The check-in and check-out procedure was easy enough, and speedy. The cleaning crew and the technician were responsive and helpful. There is an independent eatery (open 24 hours) just a few steps away, outside the main entrance - in front of the hotel (same building). This was very convenient. The hotel was good to replenish our room with water and coffee packets daily - and there is also a water tower in the lobby for guests who want to fill up their own tumblers. The hotel offers laundry service - excellent for longer stays. There is one elevator - it works fine and is kept clean. Corridors were well lit. The TV in our room could only be programmed to receive two channels (TV3, and TV8) - my parents were eventually okay with that and just spent their time more constructively - on reading and Sudoku instead! The floor was not carpeted and that was a relief! There is no table or work desk in the room, but as I was attending a conference which didn't require much work afterwards, this was fine for me. My mother enjoyed the dresser and mirror - a lot of natural light too! The bathroom was clean. And for those who drive, there is ample parking space onsite. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

The spring bed/mattress was way too springy for me personally. I had a fold-up mat, and the floor was clean - you do the math! I suggest, generally, before booking and making payment, to call ahead and check with the hotel on specific requirements you may have and whether the hotel can accommodate. Although it could have been better, the property did meet my basic requirements. Thank you to everyone who ensured it was a good and safe stay for us.

Location is very central. There is easy access to food and there is ample parking provided. The hotel is basic but clean and good value.

There was no hot water or the heater was not working and there was only one pillow for each single bed.

The 2 channel only CRT TV is a joke.5. unexpected water disruption at noon for at least an hour. 6. need to seal the room properly for both temperature control and noise. 7. In serious need of upgrading in all aspect.

I just love the simplicity...the vibes...its like an old fashion hotel...it strikes my memory back in the 80s when things were simple and nothing much to expect....living this easy going pace makes u feel forever grateful with life..

Honestly, I like everything about this hotel...may be because I am an old man with no high expectation....just enjoy the vibes..after all Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia....

Could improve more on toilet n beds

The location of the hotel was at the heart of Kangar. Easy access to mainroads, banks and eateries. Location was quite safe as well. The hotel seems to be a classic-modern hotel. The building looks old but the quality of stay was reasonably good. The room was maintained well but "nature-friendly". Cleanliness and comfort met my expectations. All the hotel personal were very accommodative and friendly.

Television can be upgraded for better experience.

theres a mamak restaurant downstairs thats open till quite late, so any meals is easy to get and the place is decent enough for a quick bite

the bed and pillow was a lil bit hard, but overall its comfy enough for a quick stay, especially since we are their for just a night, the walls are also a bit too thin, can hear the people in the hallway

Near the Mosque and restaurant adjacent to the hotel is good

my mistake not to check properly about the hotel, but the hotel is clean & in good location

the hotel name resembles a much better hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and I thought its was of the same group. But i was wrong.

The location is great. Nasi kandar restaurant is just next door. Quad room is big.Toilet is huge. Both toilet and the room itself are big and clean too, only we found one big cockroach once. ?

We stayed in a quad room. One of the double bed need to be changed coz you can feel the bed spring. Room was clean but we found one big cockroach crawling once. Towel need to be changed too coz too thin and got old stains.

#pillow only one for each, put 2 each person because the hotel too flat n less cushion impact.. next day neck pain# water flow fm heater still warm after 10 minutes on,, supposed to be hot
