If you try to jump on it, you might break your bones.The hotel's taxi wants too much money to take you to the airport.I paid 200 baht for the 30-km journey from the city center to the hotel. But the hotel asked for 200 baht for the 3-km journey to the airport. You can consider staying in the center and going to the airport by taxi.
It is close to the airport, little out of town, but restaurant, 7eleven nearby, even massage. The stuff was extremely kind. The room was fine and clean, the reviews say the beds are too hard, but I had no problems with it, it was comfortable for me. Very good value for money of you need a place to stay for a night close to the airport.

Very pleasantly surprised with K2 Hotel! It’s incorporated into a petrol station/outlet mall area on the main highway from Surat Thani to the airport with coffee shops, a restaurant, a mini C supermarket &, of course, a 7/11. (doesn’t sell alcohol). Staff were really friendly & gave us a good, clean, quiet room in the newer section that was much appreciated. We walked from the airport to the hotel in 40 mins, doable but much of it is along a very busy road. In the morning the reception booked us a taxi back for an early flight for Baht200. Overall a good experience & the nearest bed to the newly extended & modernised airport.

At 9am the power went off and they couldn't manage to bring it back, so I spent 3 hours without it. The bed was a stone slab. The position is extreme, basically you are in a test atea besides the highway, so if you don't have a vehicle, you are stuck and there are almost no restaurants

We had a stop over and stayed here, very close to surat Thani airport and a good price for a Grab to get there from here. A restaurant below and a 7 eleven and cafe Amazon next to it so had all we needed
