Panvaree Resort

What I liked the most about Panvaree Resort was its stunning location on the lake. The surrounding nature and views are truly beautiful and make the stay feel unique and peaceful.

The arrival was confusing with no clear signs, and the room smelled of fresh paint. The floor was still wet, which made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing.

We loved the incredibly beautiful location and the room was very comfortable, clean and right on the water.

I wish the night and morning safari we could have had a choice in which direction/cave we visited. I really really wanted to see wild elephants and I assumed we were being taken to where they live but it turns out that place is visited every other day and we only stayed one night and one morning so we didn't get the chance. Maybe taking a vote from the customers of where they would like to visit.

You can’t beat those views!!! I spent 2 nights here and, the entire time, I couldn’t believe that I was in this paradise!! Got to kayak and see elephants and monkeys too!Bed was very comfortable, the meals (all inclusive) were absolutely delicious, and the staff were so kind and lovely. 10/10 stay.

The WiFi could have been a bit stronger throughout the bungalows but I understand if this was a retreat more meant for unplugging.

Amazing unic Experience. Especially Benny. She is super kind and always ready to help. Also the food is good.

Definitely need a renovation. If the owner would put more love to the details it could be much better. The rooms above the restaurant are of course not so spectacular like the floating houses. At night you hear the generator.

The amazing nature! The scenery! Top! Location on the lake was something one must experience! Beautiful! Room literally on the water! Truly Wowww! And also Benny, who gave a great service and personal attention to me at all times! Truly thankful ? she makes the place!

The room is very basic (yet super expensive).The shower / bathroom smelled like urine.(Although they made some effort to clean it for me)Air condition and electricity from 6 pm to 6 am.(Not horrible, but could have been nice to have it at all times)No internet in the room (only in restaurant, and not a good signal at all) (but that was ok too to disconnect for a while and just be in nature)The room is moving a bit, since it is on the water.Too expensive for what it is given.If it cost half I wouldn’t say a thing. Maybe only about the bad smell in the restroom.Food and trips were included, yet still wayyy too expensive for what you get.Service was excellent ?

Staff were friendly and location was perfect, we have stayed 1 year previous but at the next door resort The Parneree the Greenery, we made an error while booking and ended up at just the Parneree.

Facilities were not the best compared to the Greenery next door owned as we understand by the daughter of owner The Parneree.We had 2 rooms booked as we were traveling with children, both rooms the TVs wouldnt work, sunset cruise to see the famous 3 rock formations broke down, we were lucky as we've seen them before, but i felt sorry for the other guests that really missed out on seeing this highlight of Khao Sok.Resort seemed crowded.Dont make our mistake and check while booking as the Greenery is one step better.

We have had the most wonderful stay at Panvaree. The views were breathtaking. All the staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Food was good and flavoursome. Would highly recommend this for the peace and tranquility it was amazing

Unique accomodation, great views and scenery, great food and service. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Quite a commute, could have more equipment available such as games or floaties etc, kayaks were worn down and hard to use.

I have about 60 years of traveling experience, accumulated since I was a young child traveling with my parents and younger brother. In all those years, there are many, many places I have experienced which have been particularly memorable. That said, there have been only a handful of accommodations which have been made a distinct impression on me. Panvaree Resort is one of them. Everything about it... the setting, the staff, the meals, the room, the activities one can engage in... far exceeded my expectations. I cannot Panvaree Resort recommend too highly.

My only disappointment was a lack of clear communication about the 1:00pm afternoon excursion offered every day. It was described to me as a hike. Which I took to mean we would be given an allotted time frame to explore on our own. It was actually a visit to Pakarang Cave. And participants were expected to stay with the group. It was definitely worthwhile. But I had to adjust my understanding of what was happening on the fly as the activity got underway, due to a lack of clarity provided ahead of time. I've written all this not to complain in the slightest. But in hopes that others might not experience the lack of clarity which I did.

Thus place was INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! The view was amazing.... exactly like they have advertised. They have activities planned out and it's very efficient. The foods are all included in the room charge. The stuff are sooooo friendly and very respectful. My family and I had an amazing time staying there, especially the boat rides, views, and the Kayaking.

Location was good.

Resort needs lots of work. Walls were damaged and not fixed, bathroom taps were loose and coming out of the wall, deck paint was worn off, bridge boards to get to our door were broken and wobbly, ladder to get into lake was full of slime and slippery & dangerous to use. Safe key in room did not work.

Location, inclusive food, own bathroom, AC, the staff. Benny was so lovely and hospitable.

When i booked this resort for 2 nights, i knew that i had just a budget room with A breakfast (which was kind a expensive). When I arrived to the resort I got surprised that all the meals and tours are already included to the price of the room. So that’s a huge advantage. Could I know it before, I would book a better room (for ex. room with a lake access etc). Otherwise it’s located in a beautiful place and the food is really good.

The room was budget but we expected to get at least clean bed. Unfortunately one of the blankets was really dirty. Overall room cleanliness was weak. If you book the room in the main raft (above the restaurant) be aware that you will hear everything what others are doing in the other rooms etc. But I get it, it’s a raft not a house.

everything the view, food, staff, rooms were all incredible . It is an experience of beauty of nature. worth every penny , the staff were all very helpful and enjoyable to be with .

As a couple who didn't know what to expect at all.. heres a breakdown of our experience for others who are also unsure. You arrive to a cafe (they give details close to booking date) where you are escorted onto a tail boat. The boat trip was about half an hour where you can take in all the incredible views. After this, you are welcomed to see your room. Please note, you are only allowed to use electricity in your room from the hours 17:00 - 08:00. And yes, this included AC! That said, it doesn't matter too much, you have a couple hours to have lunch (which they provide) and take a free kayak around to see some views and animals in their natural wild habitat. At approx. 17:00hrs you take your first 1 hour tail boat ride to see the sunset. Dinner is served on return. Please note, you do not choose what you eat, it might be worth notifying them before if you have allergies or take your own food/snacks.We chose to play cards and have a cold drink on our balcony before heading to bed. Please note, the huts are NOT sturdy so if you get sea sick, this might not be the best option for you. There is a second 1 hour boat trip which sets off at around 6am. Here, you get to watch sun rise which is just absolutely incredibly! As we only stayed for one night, we were shipped off back to the cafe on a 9am boat. Overall, this place is like NO other! It felt like a once in a lifetime experience and was one of our most adored after travelling all of Thailand. Do not doubt booking this, it is no 5 star hotel but it certainly is 5 star memory!Enjoy your trip :)

Can not compare to other places we have ever stayed. No complaints.

This location is breathtakingly beautiful. We had an amazing day swimming and kayaking on the lake with free rein and also the free boat trip was great and we saw some monkeys up close. Our guide Benny was really friendly and made sure we got photos on the boat. The food was also amazing !

No evening entertainment or music in the bar area so we were a little bored on the night time and the wifi connection was poor (which is to be expected with the location ). There were a lot of cockroaches in our bathroom and we even found one in our bed but also cannot 100% be helped due to location

Food is only available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and you do not get to select what you eat. Quality of food could be better.
