You can’t swim at the beach, it’s a bit rough and wavy.

Excellent Swimming pool and very friendly front desk staff. Good breakfast buffet.The ground floor rooms were best choice to enjoy the pool and property.

Service and location and food

Everything was clean and well organized. The breakfast buffet was great, the dinner buffet was so good, so many varieties including freshly grilled prawns. I am definitely coming back.

The drinks were a little bit overpriced compared to other hotels.

The guest experience was one of the best from places we have stayed in. Special shout-out to Movindu and the staff from the pool bar! We had one hiccup during our stay. However because Movindu was always proactively checking up on us and because most of the staff from front desk to bar staff was kind and friendly, that negative experience was overshadowed by the positive ones. If you want to relax and have a peaceful time away from noise I would totally recommend this hotel.Ps. They have live music in the evenings.

I loved the staff especially Sachini Dissanayaka and Jay Aru. The guest relations staff member had strong interpersonal skills and friendly mannerism. I was not happy with the first room given to me and was afraid the next one they showed me also might not be great. However, the next one exceeded my expectation. It was absolutely beautiful with a view. There was agency in providing a nice experience. It is a beautiful hotel where I have stayed every time I visited for over 25 years when it was the Triton.

The dining room waiters were not efficient at all. It was frustrating trying to get their attention especially they would smile sweetly but not efficient at all. They need to be trained to be attentive and move faster to fulfill needs of the customers. Although it is nice to be with staff with pleasant demeanor, I would definitely vote for more efficient staff with strong customer service skills especially for a hote that caters to tourists who are used to a higher level of customer service.

My wife, 7 month old daughter and I visited this hotel last week and we had the best stay. Nelka and her team were extremely attentive to our needs especially with having a little one. They even upgraded our room which was an added bonus. All the staff were super helpful and facilities were great. We had such an enjoyable time and they made us feel very comfortable. Will 100% recommend to anyone.

It was a lovely stay. The Beach is awesome. Good breakfast. Room is spacious and elegant. The bathroom is also great with the bathtub.Loved the staff and the extra compliments: Chocolate tray and Cookie Jar.

In room dining is not that great.

Very nice property, great staff. Shout out to Jayaru and Janaka who always greeted us with a warm smile and helped when asked. Overall a great stay and highly recommended. We had the luxury suite designed by their renowned architect.

The property is huge, if they could add some guiding signs it would be helpful. Especially for the gym and 2nd pool. Easy to get lost while searching.

Very elegant building, facilitoes and superb staff. Rooms are spacious and well decorated.

Flooring seemed bit slippery and swimming pool need clear entrance and exit points

The location.

We have stayed here repeatedly over the decades but this was the first time in about ten years.The power went off in our room and surrpunding area only for a good half hour when the kids were being washed and staff had no clue what was wrong and I had to go down to the reception to ask what was going on.Even though the power was rectified the bathroom light stopped working subsequently.Loud music played till 11pm from the restaurant making sleep for us (including our 3 and 5 year olds) impossible.Served some food from the buffet for my sick son and was told by the staff that they would send it up to the room immediately but took almost an hour just to send the served plate to the room, by which time my sick son had fallen asleep hungry.

Spacious and clean room, tasty food,a very friendly staff and simply we liked everything......a memorable stay ❤️
