Blu Sentral Hotel

I asked for "away from Lift" room and was given right in front of the lift' room. I think staff doesn't understand what I meant. It was a bit noisy as people talk in front of lift. Sound proofing is not good

Very nice hotel. Many restaurants, shops, laundry, etc nearby. Good hot water and ac. Decent wifi. Discount at the coffee shop across the street.

Not the fault of the hotel, but it's a non-smoking hotel yet guests still smoke in their rooms. We had to switch rooms it was so strong in our room. The 2nd room had a brief odor on our 3rd day, but it disapated quickly.

This hotel claimed in its reviews to have outstanding wifi. I picked it for the internet as I had meetings over zoom in Canada last night. Unfortunately the internet was not stable and I ended up hot spotting off my phone. Also- I scratched my mosquito bit last night while sleeping. It created a very small drop of blood on the sheets. Upon check out- we were required to pay an extra charge of 30 myr to cover laundering. This is absolute astonishing to me- they pulled us out of our car- shameful

Clean, convenient location, tasteful decor, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for sure. Stayed for 4 days. And extended for a week more.

I booked room with balcony, BUT when i checked in, i was given room without balcony!!. When i refused to accept the room and demanded to change the room to room with balcony, they refused with reasoning that room with balcony are fully booked… i was so furious on why booking.com sold me room with balcony when that rooms are fully booked???…when i told front office staff that i want to call booking.com to complain… suddently & magically out of nowhere…, room with balcony is now available and i can now changed my room!!!…, when i checked out on second day, front office charged me for the towel, because there is possibility that the stain cannot be cleaned and i need to pay for the towel… when i asked them to give that stained towel since i am paying for it… they refused!.. very confident that the stained is easily cleaned!.. the fact that,they charged me for the ‘stained’ towel and refused to give me that towel eventhough i have paid for it , and gave me wrong room and lied to me that balcony room are fully booked is ‘ringing the bell’ that this hotel will try to make as much money as they can from you… So guys, pkease beware!, as for me, i will not stay here anymore!

Modern, clean and simple setting. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There is a water dispenser in the hallway for guest use which is very convenient.

Shower water pressure a bit too low. Only given one room card to use for 2 person.

Everything is good and clean, plus the staff is friendly. the bed is so comfyy and the toilet is superb

The place very strategic, easy to find food and the room I was get cleaned and comfortable.

I like how the clean the room is and how spacious the room for the deluxe king room. They provide all amenities and toiletries. The TV is in good condition and have Netflix service. Overall, 10/10, recommended.

Helpful front desk team. They helped by providing an ironing set upon request.Drinking water was abundant but via bottled water and Coway filter water. Good variety of food available around the hotel and quiet and peaceful at night for a good rest.

Balcony is not quite necessary. May become difficult to upkeep the cleanliness.The mattress can be of better quality, the current ones are really hard and do give some pain in the morning.

Hard to find parking on peak hours

Service was excellent. Staff are very accommodating. Rooms are clean and functional with modern and minimalist interior. It’s very convenient as restaurants and marts and reachable by walking distance. Safe area with 24h receptionist

The rooms were modern, clean and had a large tv . The beds are enormous and very comfortable. We were welcomed and it was a swift check in process.

Not having any breakfast option ( especially for an early departure) There are two bakeries nearby with coffee / cake options for breakfast. We stayed en route to the airport so waited for food there so not a problem. The area around the hotel is like a large industrial estate with car servicing one way and shops / restaurants the other

New, simple and nice design. Clean and comfortable. Location great with restaurants , pharmacy , supermarket... nearby. Definitely will come back again the next time to Tawau. Highly recommended.?????
