Mercure Miri City Centre

I have a comfortable stay in Mercure Hotel, the room was clean and well maintained featuring high quality bedding and essential amenities like reliable Wi-Fi, effective climate control, hot shower. Hotel staff members are friendly, welcoming and efficient. And the hotel give us a high quality hotel breakfast.

its just the pillowcases is a smells of sweat. It would be better to change them everyday.

Regarding parking, we were informed that we had to wait until the event ended before parking was allowed. As we were traveling with an infant, we kindly requested temporary access to park briefly in front of the hotel so I could carry my baby to the room and then move the car afterward. Unfortunately, this request was not permitted, as the parking area was classified as paid parking, despite it being empty at the time.As hotel guests, we were also paying for the facilities and were not there free of charge. We were only requesting a short, temporary stop to safely carry our baby to the room—not to park overnight. In the end, we had to wait approximately 1 to 1.5 hours before parking became available.We would appreciate it if, in the future, some flexibility could be considered in situations involving guests with infants, so that arrangements can be handled more reasonably.

The staff were wonderful. I re-opened a wound I had on my thumb, and they helped me at the help desk to get a plaster as the pharmacy was not open at that time. The shower in this hotel is divine. I love the bathroom facilities, and the bed is very comfortable.

I am gluten free and dairy free therefore could only eat the omelette. The chef cleaned the pan so that I didn't get cross contaminated which was wonderful. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of choice for someone with allergies.

Breakfast was amazing! The bed was amazing! Shower and toilet too! Everything was excellent! My niece left her plushie and they called us to inform us we left it behind… So sweet! Staff was welcoming and tentative to our needs…

Very modern look. Everything is clean and fresh. We really liked the complimentary gelato and sodas in the bar fridge.

The bar at the roof top should have snack platters available to order pool side at any given time of the day. The restaurant at the roof top only opens at 5pm so no snack platters were readily available.

The staff was very helpful. warren the restaurant manager (I think) went out of his way to talk with us and accommodate our dining requests.We liked the murals and the fact that the artist was acknowledged

Spacious room for suite and great breakfast choices!

Able to hear noise from outside and baby cot didn't have a proper bedding..it was hard for my child

Breakfast good. Location is bad. Shopping and coffee shops too far too to walk especially for the elderly and the young ones in the hot sun.

Payments for car parks. No chair for twin room

This is my second time to stay at the Mercure. Car parking was simple (now that I know what to expect with car storage). Check in was smooth. Given complimentary gelato (plus extra sandwich bites while sat enjoying our gelato - thank you to the very nice lady serving us). The room was clean and comfortable. Good selection at breakfast. Love the decor. Quick and smooth check out process.

The art focused aesthetic & the welcoming lobby layout, paired with attentive receptionists making it a great first impression. I'm additionally impressed with the carbon-conscious theme from the toiletries, shower to the free-flow filtered drinking water tap built into every room. Wish I stayed longer than just one night but if I do come back to Miri I know what I'm most forward to!

There was a slight elevator issue during the checkout morning, when one of the elevators stopped on my floor but didnt open, therefore leading to the other elevators to skip my floor because they detected that an elevator was already here. There was a slight delay that led to a crowd forming by the elevator of my floor. We eventually all decided to go down 1 floor & press for the elevator there. No issue getting down/while inside, & wasnt there long enough to follow-up on this issue after I raised it to reception that morning, but I hope it was dealt with ASAP for the safety of all other guests.

Good Location

Parking required payment was Not Explicitly stated on the Booking.com website. Customers only knew when arrive at the hotel. Not Worth the Value - room is too small, gym facilities limited and swimming pool too small for the cost of the hotel room.

From the staff to the bedroom to the bathroom, it was all amazing. This time I also managed to get a private parking space in front of the hotel for one night and it was supee convenient.

Nothing much to not like. The breakfast buffet could be improved in terms of taste. If the hotel room is breakfast included, you need to wow the guests with what you feed them. I also noticed that the Eggstation menu had two errors whereby the description of Sunny Side Up and Over Easy got mixed up somehow. For Sunny Side Up, you fry on one side only and do not flip the egg in contrast to Over Easy. I will upload the photo for that.

Very clean and in central location. The carpark service was very cool!

Good stay in the middle of Miri. New, rooms with great decor, comfortable beds. Relatively decent sound-proofing. Good water pressure for the showers and comfortable clean bathrooms with bidet. Good selection for breakfast. Rooftop pool. Cars were stored very securely.

Rooftop pool was a bit on the small side (but expected). Since the car parking was so secure, you can't go back to the car to collect things that you've forgotten, so best to make sure you have everything ready. Well, you can access your car, but it is a bit troublesome. Potentially, if you want easier access to your car, you could book one of the limited parking in front of the lobby.

Location is strategic with nearby convenience stores around and atractiobe within walking distance. Like the 55inch size TV and comfy beds. Also like the bottomless filtered water.

Swimming pool located at roof top is pretty small in size.

location was good - walkable eateries around. The room itself is small but adequate for a couple of nights.

not much space if you are a couple travelling with 2 suitcases

The location was fantastic and the staff were super friendly. They allowed me to check in early which was a bonus and the room was extremely clean and tidy. This was my second time staying here and I would recommend it to anyone!
