Easy to find- parking good and secure

It was clean. There was free parking convenient to the hotel.

Very noisy with thin walls. The neighborhood was not comfortable for walking alone or after dark. Local bar across street had multiple clients early in the morning. Poorly stocked coffee service in the room.

Private gated parking a big bonus, location in town so could walk to everything.Owners very welcoming, friendly and very helpful!

The location was okay. Close to the motorway and close to walking distance to restaurants.

We arrived in Alencon at the hotel in external temperatures of 2° when entering the room we felt immediately it was cold and there was a tepid heat from a old-fashioned radiator. It found it difficult to get warm in the room and made a formal request to the reception to ask for the temperature to be increased. Unfortunately, despite being told the situation had been dealt with for a second time the radiator still was not working and only seemed to increase in heat after 1 am in the morning.

Good location, Very good room and staff, very clean. Good secure parking on site.

No evening restaurant and limited breakfast. Good selection of restaurants 9 minute walk away.

Traditional town centre hotel, nicely modernised. Private parking. Lovely welcome. Good-sized room with good facilities.

For us the breakfast needed eggs and more fruit to be really good. And service was offhand.

The hotel was easy to find. The parking was secure and off road. The staff were helpful, friendly and happy to speak English which facilitated them not having to listen to my extremely limited French. Breakfast was a varied and plentiful buffet.

Delicious fresh pain au chocolat, croissants and baguettes every morning. Excellent choice of various breakfast foods both sweet and savoury. Warm welcome from staff everyday. The secure car park was an unexpected bonus.

It was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. It had a nice garden.

Although it was forbidden to smoke, our room smelled of cigarette smoke. We couldn't get food when we arrived on Sunday evening and all the restaurants were closed. We had been warned by the hotel so we had brought sandwiches with us.

After a very long trip the important things are a good shower, comfortable bed, helpful staff and a good breakfast. This property had all of those, and private parking.

No lift, but that is a minor problem.

Very friendly and helpful owners. We went to one of the restaurants recommended, Chez Fano, the food was excellent, but we felt that we had been overcharged. When we told the hotel owner about this, he asked for the details and was very annoyed at our treatment. He called the restaurant himself to complain and reduced our bill, intending to visit the restaurant personally the next day to prevent a recurrence to any of his guests. He couldn't do enough for us.

Dog owners were asked to clean up after their pets, quite a lot hadn't.The owners' dog was a big 10 year old German Shepherd, which attacked our very gentle Cockapoo. Fortunately no damage done. The owners were mortified, however their dog clearly had issues and should not be allowed off a leash in a public area.

Rooms were immaculately clean with beds of pristine white sheets. Whole hotel was beautifully clean. Hotel was easy to get to on our way back from the very South of France. We were delayed in traffic incidents for hours, but the hotel were amazing when we couldn't get there by 9pm, so made arrangements for us to collect our room keys and as we had been on the road for 14 hours I can't thank them enough. I would recommend this hotel to everyone . We travel to France a couple of times a year and now this will be my first choice stop over hotel.

Great location just on edge of Alencon easy 5 min walk. Staff very friendly and spoke perfect English even though I did attempt my French.Secure parking which is why we always choose this hotel.Clean room and a Kettle in room.
