Very clean, comfortable room. Great value and lovely staff. Particularly enjoyed the patio area to relax in the evening. Superb breakfast.
No complaints at all.
We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. The hotel is very good value for money.Clean and very welcoming. An excellent location when travelling to St Malo for an early morning ferry departure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You need to book early as the room vacancies are snapped up.
A bit of a walk into the centre of Rennes. However worthwhile considering the hotel is excellent value for money and an excellent location from the auto route
Room was clean and tidy. There was a shower hose on the bath, I prefer a full shower so that's more a preference. Bed was comfortable, no excess noise and even a siesta nap was refreshing. The breakfast was great, with freshly squeezed orange juice a great touch, rather than the concentrated sugar stuff.
If space would allow a small kettle in the room for tea/coffee could be provided.
This hotel is really unique and I absolutely loved it! It's very unusually situated in a suburban residential area and I awoke each morning to birdsong from the surrounding gardens. The hotel is full of interesting vintage items, everything from old jukeboxes to vintage ice skates. The accommodation floors had the feeling of being aboard a cruise liner from 100 years ago, with a central staircase and timber panelling. I had a single room up in the roof space with a velux, allowing me to lie in bed and watch the stars. The very large bed took up most of the room, which I found really cosy, and again giving the feeling of being on-board a ship, with the timber panelling and paintwork. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely crisp bed linen. The bathroom was spacious with a bath and overhead shower. All the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. I didn't try the highly recommended breakfast, as I'm vegan, but from what I saw, it looked great, and is served in a stylish light dining room looking out over the garden. There is a bakery at the end of the street a large organic shop about 10 minutes walk away, and it's about a 10 minute walk from the Cleunay metro station. I would highly recommend this unique hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable, friendly and unforgettable stay!
Couldn't fault anything.
Everything is good: clean, comfortable and well presented. Two stars doesn't do it justice - I guess it's disadvantaged by not having a full restaurant service, but for an overnight stop it's excellent and there are restaurants nearby. The breakfast is fine.
Nothing. All good.
Easy to find, we arrived early and reception was closed until 1500, but there were maps showing the location of the metro station (8 minutes walk and about 5 stops into Rennes centre). Check-in was easy and quick. The bed was nice and firm, the room was clean and warm. Car parking onsite.
Stayed numerous times - nice location and lovely walk into the old town. Basic but more than adequate plus parking is free so that’s a bonus
Showers could be upgraded and would love tea/coffee facilities.
I like the room and the staff personal . The staff was very polite. The breakfast was very tasty.
Good basic accomodation. Excellent friendly and very helpful staff Dog friendly. Good parking on site and well lit. Although late we asked whether they could provide any food and they created an excellent cheese and meat platter served to our room.
We found nothing to criticise and already intend revisiting next year .
this hotel was convenient as a transition through Rennes. the staff was welcoming and helpful. a safe place to store a bicycle was provided. the access to public transportation was easy.
A nice & clean hotel, with a friendly personnel. The neighborhood is green and cozy, but not very close to the center of the city.
The Internet wifi connection is bad. There were some construction sites in full activity during our stay, so it was a bit noisy.
Breakfast was in order. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was very spartan. Not even a soup bar or a shower curtain, but expensive during the Space.
The location was my prime reason for choosing this hotel but it was very clean well run staff were pleasant helpful and friendly and the bed was very comfortable
Easy to find.
Lots of steps, perhaps challenging for anyone with mobility difficulties. This is just an observation there may be other access points that we are unaware of.
The location was easy to find. a pleasant relaxed atmosphere with a bar and outside seating which I took advantage of. The host was helpful and efficient.
nothing to dislike.
