Hotel Mercure Rennes Centre Gare

Receptionist's english was excellent and gave me a street map showing locations of various destinations needed by me and ordered a taxi for me.

Very nice staff at the reception. Untidy restaurant staff but good breakfast.

unpleasant neighborhood, no reasonable parking, no extra blanket. Old thin towels that have not been changed.Untidy restaurant staff but good breakfast.

Good breakfastClose to transportationSeveral restaurants nearby

Place looks dated and a bit rough

Old rooms,Awful towels , thin old and no longer white . No body soap in shower in one room so we needed to get it from the other room. The beds were comfortable . The breakfast was absolutely disgusting everything was stale , no water in egg boiler , all cold meats and fruit looked like they’d been out for days . All cooked for was edible and no one came out from the kitchen to check on any food whilst we were in the room. Only ok thing was the nespresso coffee maker.Unfortunately won’t be staying there again

Near station and ok for a stopover for a day or two

Breakfast area a bit depressing and the night staff when we arrived late in the evening claimed that booking.com had overbooked and they didn't have a room but eventually upgraded us to a superior room - would not liked to have seen a standard one!

Staff very helpful, location , quiet

The hotel is located in a good location in the city centre, the stuff was friendly, the room comfy, everything I expected from the stay.

They gave us a voucher for parking which was directly at the hotel. it is ca. 10 minutes to walk to the historical center. staff was nice and gave us a baby bed even though they did not receive the info from booking.comWIFI was good

there were no power sockets next to the bed, the bathroom door was squeaking, only one chair in the room

very modern hotel with car park next to itgood location

near city centre

Receptionist tried to take over 200€ extra from credit card at check in without saying anything. She tried to force us to pay this which was unacceptable. The room was dingy and noisy and photos did not reflect the low standard. This is not a 4 star hotel.

Easy access, adjacent parking, nearby dining

Room a bit dated, breakfast fare just OK.

Every staff member were courteous and informative. They went out of their way to assist you. They provided excellent selections for Breakfast.
