Cons -
- The ability to move luggage between floors was burdensome. The room was not quite on the garden side as described. There is not much of closet to hang clothes in. For a short stay, it is a convenient hotel, but I would not recommend for a longer stay.
- No space indoors as a seating area .only dining room , maybe in summer the garden is a good seating area and some rooms their entrance is via the open balcony
- The room was cramped and scruffy. Evidence of wear and tear predominates. Not enough space for a long stay. Tea/coffee provisions were inadequate and poorly presented.

The hotel was close to the station and the town centre. It was easy to find and had a lift and good breakfast options. I would use it again for short stays in transit. The bed was comfortable and clean.

The rooms were tidy and clean the breakfast was amazing and the people were warm and welcoming.
The rain
Location is good about 10 minutes walk (1/2 mile) from station. Staff were nice. Room was quiet, but a little scary being isolated in a dark place alone.
Wifi was pretty bad - barely working and losing contact often. Breakfast was ok, but they ran out of eggs and pre-cooked crepes and never bothered to add more. Staff were nice but did not make much effort to explain how certain complicated things worked, and I had to hunt them down to check out. They just didn't put much effort into it. Pretty pricey.
Hotel is well located for visiting Rennes. Availability of paid parking. Communal outdoor patio for breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast.
Breakfast choices are confusing (unless you choose the full continental). The room we were given wasn't in the hotel proper, but around the corner in another building. The room appeared to be for a disabled person had not been thoroughly cleaned, and when I asked the lady at the front desk if it would be possible to change rooms I was told that it was not and if I didn't like it I was welcome to leave (late in the evening). Not a very customer friendly response!!
It was a clean room just a little outdated. But it felt very French. The staff was very friendly.
The price for the breakfast. So we didn't purchase it because the options were limited. Again, wish there was air conditioning. We had a coffee Maker and coffee, but there were no coffee cups in our room.
Staff were excellent
Garden room meant we were next to the bar with people smoking and smoke drifting into the room. We had to close the only 1 window which made it very hot Outside lights were very bright and curtains did not cover window
Good location. Eco friendly and nice rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Cute little hotel, great location for walking to the medieval heart of Rennes. And the breakfast was magnificent
Parking was a bit wonky, but not a big deal. Great place
I am a female traveller who mostly wanted to visit Mont Saint Michel, but the city of Rennes was amazing as well. The hotel is really central so you can reach everything by walk. The staff (especially one young brunette girl at the reception) was very sweet and helpful with tipps. The room was cozy and clean.
The room was nice, a bit old, but the bed was comfy. The location is very good, you can walk anywhere from the hotel.
We chose this place because of the private parking and it turned out that we needed to book the parking beforehand. It was not communicated to us or written anywhere
Staff interactions were mixed. On arrival, the young woman at reception was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. Unfortunately, her colleague the following morning was grumpy and rude.
The assigned garden room had several issues. The door was difficult to close and lock, requiring assistance from two staff members who tried to fix it. The room remained cold despite the radiator being on. Its overall aesthetic felt more like a trailer home than a hotel room: the upper half of the door is essentially a window made of clear glass, so there is a thick plastic curtain (like a thick shower curtain) for privacy; the flooring is a dark grey vinyl or linoleum that made it hard to tell if it was clean. On a positive note, the bathroom appeared recently renovated and was clean. At over €100 per night (excluding breakfast), the experience fell short of expectations.
Location was great! The restaurants near the hotel are all excellent!
Eco-hotel and a great breakfast.
Good location, bike storage, nice staff.
Very helpful and friendly staff and thank you for speaking good English for us. Great to have somewhere secure to store our bicycles too.
Central to restaurants and bars and secure parking for motorcycles.Great bar next door, too, very welcoming to our group on tour
The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station, 500 meters, la place de la République with its many bus stops, local and regional buses, 400m, and the city center.
The appartement was a bit small, but calm, clean and well equipped.
