Good location and very helpful staff.

This is an excellent choice for a family if you choose the two bed apartment.We had an overnight stay in Rennes and this was perfect for us.Beds very comfortable and a lovely continental breakfast.Very easy central locationStreet parking or easy car park access

Very well located and the staff were super friendly. It did everything we wanted for a short stopover to St Malo.

This is a cute, comfortable apartment in an older wing of the Hotel Lanjuinais. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would describe the decor of the apartment as 'shabby chic'. It retains some of the historic features of the building - including high ceilings , fireplace and original, uneven timber floors, which creak when you walk on them. This quaintness is combined with modern features in the kitchen and bathroom. It also has a good washing machine. The Hotel is very well located in the city centre, in easy walking distance to Sainte Anne and other historic locations.

The apartment is on the first floor of the older wing of the building and doesn't have a lift. It is accessed by an old winding wooden staircase. A hotel staff member offered to carry our luggage up the stairs but we managed the task ourselves without too much difficulty.

Central location

Room was on the 4th floor (just under the roof). From the 3rd floor there is a very narrow steel staircase to the room. If you have a decent luggage (standard size) it is very difficult to take it up and down the stairs while keeping balance. For someone in slightly worse shape, this could be dangerous. The room itself is only suitable for people under 1.5m in most places. It was fine for a short overnight stay, but for a multiday stay, this could have lead to back injury for someone over 1.85 m.

Welcoming hotel staff, clean room with big window. Located only 5 minutes away by foot from the city center.

The bathroom and shower are particularly small / narrow.

Took a deposit from my bank card without asking and I still haven’t received it, when I asked why they had taken it the receptionist just laughed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! They gave good recommendations of good local restaurants and was very helpful when we had an issue with the sink in the room. The staff was quick to react and was very proactive trying to ensure that our stay there was nothing less than perfect. Thank you so much for making our stay pleasant!

We lived in a room without window and the bathroom was quite mouldy and damp due to the lack of ventilation. I'd recommend to consider including a dehumidifier in the room to keep air flowing. Otherwise, everything else was perfect!

The shower was extremely small. Nearly couldn't fit in it. There was no airconditioner or overhead fan. There was a bar across the road which meant we had to shut the windows for the noise.

It had the very basic facilities. Bed was small.

There was only one power outlet in the room, and it wasn't next to the bed, but on the wall opposite the bed for the TV. There is a huge lack of power outlets next to the bed.

We had a very warm welcome and a lovely comfortable and quiet room. The staff were always helpful, cheerful and efficient. The hotel is very close to the centre of Rennes and also not far from the railway station. It definitely deserves more than the '2-star' rating it currently has. We will definitely stay here again.
