yes everything starting with the rude staff to the service to the room access, it should not be a 3 star hotel instead it should be a 1.5 or 2 stars max

Didn't like the bathroom, odd design and child's bed was placed 1 ft from the bathroom door, very unhygienic and inconvenient. Bizarrely the bathroom had no light button outside nor inside the door, it was located right inside the dark bathroom next to the toilet flush. The bed was a small double. No handle on the wardrobe. Very cramped space to move around room. Banged my knee in the middle of the night trying to get to the toilet. The photo showed tea and coffee facilities in room but this was not the case and not provided in the room.

the location is perfect for stopovers, disabled parking and room access is excellent, we contacted the hotel in advance to arrange our visit goes without a hitch, the staff are lovely

no kettle available (we forgot our travel kettle), our stay was on a Sunday, so No food available nearby and no kettle to make a pot noodle ??.. on the plus side; the room cost less than the deliveroo...

Comfortable bed. Hot water in shower. Unlimited hot drinks from bar. Daytime reception staff were helpful and patient.

Hotel looks quite run down and tired. Textured ceilings in hall badly water stained and flaking in places. Bedroom was ok but the bathroom was in need of an update. Ceiling mouldy. Laminate flooring around shower looked to have water damage and black edges. Section of wood missing from bottom of door, leaving section exposed that looked black. Some of the laminate panelling around the sink was cracked. Gaps between the panelling and the ceiling. Only 2 towels given for a triple room. Had to request extra from reception. Breakfast was quite sparse. Only one type of meat (turkey). Small amount of cheese (2 types). No eggs at all. French bread and sliced brioche. Some cereals. Yoghurts were nice as were the pancakes. There was fruit salad, compote and fresh fruit. I have stayed in many hotels in France including budget options and the breakfast offered was not much value for the €10 price.

Warm welcome. Comfortable bed apart from the pillow.

Pillows are lumpy and a bit 'stale' smelling. I shall take my own next time. Restaurant and bar did not appear to be available.

Comfortable stay for a night enroute to channel crossing. Arrived after 11pm but was still greeted by reception staff and quickly checked in. Big car park right around the building. Parked my motorcycle under my bedroom window although it’s a quiet area anyway so minimal concerns. Good breakfast buffet and endless hot drinks (day and night) There’s also an evening restaurant service although I didn’t arrive in time for that.

Slight lack of electrical sockets, only one in bedroom on dresser and one in bathroom, although there are usb connections too in the bedside lamps so i did managed to charge everything overnight

The bed was very confortable. The bath was small but I was still able to enjoy it. Teas making facilities was appreciated. The receptionast was excellent.

The room smelled a bit like sewage. I probably could have said something but I was so tired from a long day.

Receptionist was friendly ,spoke good English and had a lovely sense of humour.We arrived around 8pm and booking in was swift .Having read previous posts I was very pleased with the size of the room ,the shower area.Yes it needs some TLC..a kick of paint might help! but it's a great stopover ,dog friendly parking was easy.Worth the money- great value.

Paintwork needs a refresh.

Good location, easy to find town and restaurants near by, good breakfast ?

. would have preferred tea facilities in the room,tea coffee available free in reception

The hotel was very good with plenty of parking . The room was excellent , The receptionist extremely pleasant . Coffee was provided as you wanted downstairs in the lobby , free and you helped yourself .

Despite the HUGE signs outside there was no 'working 'restaurant . This was a HUGE no no for us , having driven from Maidstone that morning and dense fog after landing at Calais , we were looking forward to a pleasant meal in the hotel restaurant .The booking form for the Hotel gave alot of information on the availability of meal in the hotel restaurant during COVID . Unfortunately, this had obviously NOT been updated in the last few years . We assumed from what it said that evening meals were available from Monday to Thursday in the hotel restaurant. This was not so , No meals were available. We could not see any restaurants locally .They operated a 'SNACK ' menu , no , not rolls , sandwiches or toasties , just 3 penne pasta dishes , obviously from freezer to microwave .For us , after a long drive , totally unacceptable and we would not have booked this Hotel had the information about the restaurant been up to date . We went to bed hungry after a very long day.

The location is ideal for an overnight stay on a journey as it is close to the motorway and easy to find. The hotel is basic and comfortable and provided all that we needed. We decided to eat in as it was raining, the menu was limited, but the food and wine were good.
